Hi everyone! I'm actually in Canada right now at my inlaws but just had to post that we got all our ADRs! My dh middlepat got up at 4am to use the o line system and he got everything we wanted. Some right on time but most within 15-20 minutes. One was an hour. The details are in my ptr but I was so nervous about it because i've heard no so good stories on the podcast and other people. Maybe they are getting the kinks worked out.

I'll catch up when we get home in about a week!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. The weather was just gorgeous here!
Everyone ate way too much food yesterday at the buffet for breakfast and got tummy aches!!!

Going to look at new glasses for Lauren today. Yay!....more money flying out of my wallet!!

slo Glad you got in lots of pool time. Wish we had a pool here.
SIL lives outside LA. So her mentioning a date that would be good for my FIL to visit Chicago is ridiculous since she wouldb't be going with him!!!...and since she has no real clue what his finances are!!! She is such a trouble maker!!! Needless to say Tony is going with his dad to Chicago over Labor Day weekend. The kids and I are staying here....and they are NOT happy about that!

disneygal My kids start on the 24th. DD has an orientation this Thursday she is looking forward to. Her school is 6-8th grade, and it's only 2 years old. It's a very nice, and large, building.
I hope Mike had a great time! It's always nice to visit with old friends!

Hersey Congrats on the new flooring and paint! Too bad what the cat thinks!!

momto1 I've never tried R & C. Have you been before and do you like it?
Did I mention happy birthday to your son too? I think I'm loosing my mind lately!!!! Just in case.....

I just have to mention, I hate junk mail. I am usually good about tossing daily, but this was a crazy week/end and the mail sat on the counter this week. I nearly filled a paper bag tonightwith all the junk!!! I know how this nation could save a ton of money!!!!!!! Stop advertising *rap!!!

Thanks everyone. I stopped into work today and the mood was pretty somber. He was from the suburbs, so everything will be held up there, but I wanted to see if anyone was collecting money or anything. I am still in shock. I was joking around with him on Friday night! Such a shame...
Anyway, dd and I had a nice day together. There is a lot of friction when ds is around since she tends to boss or "help" him, which makes him mad and then, in turn, makes me mad. However, he is at grandma's until tomorrow. DD and I went shopping and out to lunch. Then we went to see G-Force. I saw a preview for The Princess and the Frog and for Toy Story 3...can't wait!

Erika- Glad you got the ADRs. We can make ours on Sept. 13th. Counting the days and happy to be able to do it online!
momto and ID- Happy bdays all around!
momto- Never done R and C, either, but that sticky toffee pudding looks amazing. There are just too many good dining choices in Epcot!
Slo- The hotter, the better...you should have been in WDW in June when we went. Blazing!
Hersey- Glad you got the flooring done. We want to go the other way. Pulled up some carpet and found hardwood that needs to be refinished.

Okay, gotta check on dd. Her friend is sleeping over and somehow they always end up in the bathroom using my hairspray or perfume! I also plan to make some blueberry muffins before bed. The night is young!

I have to give a 10 minute presentation on my store, this morning, at my Leads Group. I could have a 10 minute conversation with anyone about the business, but when I sit and talk about it, I never know what to say. I'm this way when the paper interviews me for an article too. I'm not nervous, I just get stumped on what to talk about. I have visuals to take, so that will help take up some time - wish me luck - 10 minutes doesn't seem like a long time, but it really is when you have to speak.


I had a such a great night last night.
Kevin called me at work and told me that my neighbor invited us over for dinner. She invited the neighbors on the other side also. The kids had so much fun, and so did all the adults. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE my neighbors!!!! I am so blessed to have them, and to live on my street

Morning guys! It feels like Monday today, DH took a vaca day yesterday and we took the kids to the Field Museum. It was a free day. We got there by 9:30a and it wasn't too bad but you could definitely notice the increase in crowds by 11:30-12n. I packed a lunch and it was simply beautiful downtown. We ate outside and the view of the skyline and lake with all the boats was so pretty.

Today I take all 3 kids to the dentist. SO not looking forward to it. The girls will be fine but DS is overly sensitive to oral stimulation and it could very well become a huge struggle with him. Should have had DH take off today so he could come with me.

slo - hope your presentation goes great today. Just think of how much your lectoring experience will help.
*You are lucky to have such great neighbors, I'm envious.

paint - so sorry about the death of your co-worker, will keep all in my prayers.
*How are the muffins, they sound yummy!

Tiggerrn - I totally agree with you on the junk mail. It is amazing the amount of wasted paper then again on the flip side there must be people employed to produce all that junk so without it they'd be out of work.

Bunchkin - this is all I have to say about your DSil . It's awfully nice of her to tell your FIL he can go to Chicago when she's not the one that will have to do anything about it. Ugh, family!

momto1 - wow, birthday twins! Yikes though with the teenage years for you.

erika - hope you have fun in Canada! Congrats too on getting all your ADRs, can't wait to tryout the new online system for my next trip.....someday.

disneygal - hope Mike had fun in Denver but not as much fun as the guys in the movie Hangover. (Funny movie about a guy's bachelor party)

Hersey - don't you love redecorating! I so want to re-do our bathroom but since I want a new vanity and lighting I have to wait and save up. Hope your cat gets used to the new digs.

Hey all! Finished the school supply shopping today! All done! And broke. Tell me, exactly what will teachers do with approx 50 boxes of Kleenex?
Toy Story Mania for Wii is coming in Sept!!!!!I reserved my copy today. I will be able to play and get ready for vacation play.
Taking DS to see Transformers now this afternoon. Swim lessons cancelled on account of the weather. DD wants to spend some time with a friend instead.

Hi gang! I started a post earlier, got sidetracked at work and logged off.

DS started band camp today. He was in a foul mood. He really like to play his intrument but really dislikes the middle school band instructors. I want him to stick it out one more year and, hopefully, will like the High School teachers better.

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes for ds. He is on the teen board at times and apparently registerd his bday with DIS and received a birthday greeting from DIS, too.

Erika and Paint - I ate at Rose and Crown once several years ago. I hate to admit but I don't remember much about the food. I really want to try to time it to see Illuminations. It sounds like I must report back on the sticky toffee pudding! Oh....my...

Tiggern - Way to go on school shopping! I plan to finish tonight. I hope. What's going on with the weather the swim lessons were cancelled?

ID - Hope the dentisi visits went well.

Morning guys! It looks like another beautiful day today. The dentist went amazing well yesterday, not a problem from DS at all! Now he says he loves the dentist......

I have a new "job". My DSis asked me if I'd babysit her DS4 full time. He'll go to preschool half day and is a breeze to watch so I said yes. It works out as the perfect job, I can still go about my daily stuff without a problem and don't have to worry about work conflicting with school holidays, etc.

DH goes to MI today for a meeting, will be home tomorrow night so not too bad. He'll go to Omaha at the end of the month. His new job will have him travelling more but usually only overnights.

slo - thanks for the link, will have to check that out. I'm part of a coupon thread on TGM, it's amazing the number of websites and blogs out there that tell you how to save big $$!

geffric - hope you survived band practice!

momto1 - DD12 plays flute in her school band but loves her band director. I'm hoping she'll stay with it in high school too!

Tiggerrn - I finished school supply shopping about a week ago. Got some great deals at Meijer and finished up. I too wonder why they need 50 boxes of tissues, 25 bottles of hand sanitizer and 60+ canisters of sanitizing wipes. It's amazing that the kids get sick with all those cleaning supplies in the classroom.

Morning all! Little sleepy here. Dh and I have been up late the last 2 nights watching "True Blood" on dvd. I've been reading the series and wanted to check out the series on dvd (since I won't pay for HBO!). Anyway, we've gotten sucked in and watched 10 hours over the past 2 nights!
Tig-I am almost done with BTS supplies, but I still need to get ds oil pastels. Really? How many times will they use them?
mac- AC one day. Furnaces the next. Gotta' love IL!
ID- Sounds like the babysitting will work out well for you!

DD's off at her school's 6th grade orientation today. They got their schedules, which her's needs to be fixed when I go pick her up, they forgot to place her in the accelerated classes!!! They get a tour of the school, their locker, computer access codes, and a pizza lunch among other things.
And I have to buy her a PE uniform, $20!


SIL is coming to town this weekend. She is causing more problems and a lot of stress for DH. I told him that I refuse to do anything or go anywhere with her. Her and her husband are so utterly rude and pompous. I won't go into details.
Pray for sanity my friends!!!

American Girl Fans: McDonald's new happy meal toy for girls is a cute little AG doll book! They have one for each historical doll. They just came out this week.
We stopped at the McD's inside our local Super Walmart while shopping yesterday and bought the first 2 books they had without buying the whole meal.
