BYE!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

opps i missed the sent off.

have fun.

Good morning everyone!

I finally got Alex to do a little clothes shopping yesterday. :yay: We went to Old Navy they were having a great sale to bad everyone else in the state was there too. We met up with Nicole and her kids. Thanks for staking out a place in line ala WDW :thumbsup2

Leigh Some people have this misguided idea that kids need to be older to enjoy Disney :confused3. Good luck there is nothing like seeing the kids enjoy the parks.

Mac I hope the person that is reposting your plans stops it. We all like to think we are safe here to say things that won't be repeated even on other threads. We all need to respect that.

I hope everyone is able to enjoy the day today it looks like it is going to be a good one.

i totally agree!

and have to leave soon. going to church, will have your backs covered.

catch you later.

Happy Sunday to all! Looks like it's going to be a pretty day today, have to enjoy them while we can!

Happy Birthday to all that I missed this week! Hope that all the days were magical ones!

Would appreciate it greatly if you guys could keep my sister in law in your thoughts and prayers, she is having to deal with additional treatment for her cancer. Thanks, friends.

Please know that even if I don't post as much as all of you, I am reading and thinking of you often!!!

Have a great day and week! :)

GO SOX!!! <sorry, Cub fans!>

:surfweb:

I love Sunday mornings - they are always so relaxing!!!!!

Not to much new here :sad2:
I didn't work yesterday, so I was able to spend so time with the kids.
Stephanie rode her bike, while I walked - we went 6 miles:)
Then we went in the pool for awhile, but not all day, because we went to church late yesterday afternoon.
It was a good day!!!!:)

We aren't doing much today either.
Kevin is going to make some breakfast, and then we are going to hang out at home.

HERSEY - I"m glad you were able to buy Alex some clothes. I need to go there and see if there's anything for Stephanie. The last time I went there, the clothes for her, were a little to old looking for what I feel is appropriate for her age (I'm a little old fashion when it comes to that:rolleyes: ). You're lucky with having a boy - you don't have to worry about skirts, and shorts being way to short:eek: and tops being way to low:eek: Does he have a certain style that he likes, or has he not started thinking about that kind of thing yet?

paint - I personally don't love treadmills either, because I feel I would get bored on that too ::yes:: If I had to choose though, I would choose the treadmill, because it feels more natural to me (weird I know). I LOVE LOVE being outside the most though, and I will go out unless it's way way to cold for me (like 10 and under or below 0 windchill) because I love looking around. The main problem with the winter for me is the sunlight. When I go out in the winter it's still dark out, and that makes me feel unsafe, so I'm going to have to rely on aerobics tapes in the winter, and maybe go to the FD to use their exercise equipment in the evening (hopefully I can get Kevin to exercise with me:rolleyes: )
**Happy early birthday to your DH
I hated turning 30 - it was a huge reality check that I wasn't a kid anymore :sad2:
I think I will be fine with 40, but I'll let you know in 3 years how I truly feel about it :)

TTTTTiiigggernnnnnn - Please do come visit me anytime - I would love the company, and you can meet Sophie too - she really loves having visitors during the day :goodvibes
**Have a great great great time!!!!!!:cool1: I hope the weather is better for you, but luckily, since we are all WDW veterans, we know how to get around the World with inclement weather, and still have a great time!!!!:yay: I hope you AKL - I've never been in there, and I can hardly wait to hear how you liked your stay!!!

Leigh - I'm sorry that your second trip may not happen:guilty: When are you leaving on your first trip, I can't remember.

Mac - :wave2:

Donna - I'm sorry to hear about your DSIL:guilty: I will absolutly keep her in my thoughts and prayers:angel:

Well, I'm off to get the day started
Have a good day everyone!!!

America's Thrillmakers: Walt Disney World
This fascinating study of the rides at Florida's Walt Disney World

subliminally prep patrons as they wait in line. Rides include the

It's the start of a new week!!!!

I hope you all had a good day yesterday - it was beautiful outside!!!!! :sunny:
We were outside all day.
We did yardwork, and then I sat by the pool while the rest of the family was in (I didn't want to go in, so Sophie and I sat on the deck, and I was able to really get into my Prince Caspian book, which is great so far).
It was a very productive and relaxing day!!!!:thumbsup2

Mac - I loved your post too!!!!! :thumbsup2
**Thanks for the listings!!!

HERSEY - :wave2:

I"m off to start my walk - have a good day!!!

Good morning!

Boy these cool nights are great for sleeping. I love these kind of days.

Tomorrow Alex starts school. He was grumbling last night about summer going so fast, tell me about it

Slo How is Katie feeling? Alex for about the last year has been pretty vocal of his taste in clothes. He is into the mono color scheme. I want him to branch out nothing florescent just some color.

WOW! I don't go on the DIS at all yesterday and there's only two posts on this thread when I get back?!?

What, was every else freaking out about the new Idol judge like me? :rotfl2:

HI gang! :wave2:

It's been so quite around the house with both kids in school! It's going to take some getting used to.

I forgot to mention that on Friday I went to meet my mom for lunch, and while waiting in the parking lot of the restaurant for a car to back out of it's space, another vehicle backed right into me, hitting my car on the passenger door!!!! :sad2: I was in such shock, as I was right next to this car blocking it from moving. I didn't even have a clue anyone was in the car!!! The old man driving the car must have just started backing out without looking into ANY of his mirrors!!!! :sad2:
So yesterday I had to go to the police station to order a report so I can file a claim against his insurance, as there is damage to my car. And I have to go tomorrow to get an estimate. What a pain!!!!

slo Glad your enjoying your book!! I have had more time to read now that the kids are in school.
Are you planning on looking for a new employee?

Hersey What grade is Alex starting? It was nice to see you both over the weekend! Had to already return one pair of jeans I bought for DH!
Alex is taller than you, when are you going to start letting him sit in the front seat.....mom?? ;)

mac Thanks for listings, as usual!! :)

Leigh I just heard about the 4th judge this morning. I don't see the need! That show lost my interest years ago. I just watch the beginning parts with all the tragic wierdos!!! :rotfl2:

Sorry I didn't check in this morning, but I got up kinda late for me.
I normally get up at 5:20am, but after alarm #1 went off at 4:25am, and then Sophie needed to go out at 5am, and then a train was making alot of noise at 5:10am (we live pretty close to railroad tracks), I said forget it - I don't feel like getting up early:sad2: Then Katie got up at 6:15am telling me she wet her bed (she still wears pull-ups, but I never told you that, because it embarrasses her), so I told her to change her clothes and climb into bed with me. Then I got up a little later and had to strip her bed and put it into the laundry. So, that was morning in a nutshell

There wasn't much posting yesterday, which makes me hope that everyone is out enjoying this awesome August weather :sunny: I'm loving the fact that we can have our windows open - just love it!!!!

HERSEY - Katie is feeling much better, thank you for asking!!!!:)

Leigh - :wave2:

Bunchkin - I am so sorry to hear about your car:guilty: Doesn't it suck, when you see someone hitting your car, and there's nothing you can do about it. This happened to me once a grocery store - one of the employees rammed the line of carts right into my car, while I was sitting in the van. We were so mad, because it happened 2 days after we picked the van up from the bodyshop (it had to get fixed after a minor accident I had). I hope you are able to get your car fixed w/o any hassels or difficulties:wizard:
**I am wanting to find a new employee, but no one has come in that fits right yet. I had one college girl that filled out the app., but she would have to leave in May - I'm not to hip on training someone, to know they are leaving as soon as they are fully trained. So we'll see what happens - only time will tell I guess.

Well, I best get going and finish my lunch, then Katie wants to try her new computer game - it's nice having her back with me at work again :goodvibes

Have a good rest of the day!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry to have gone MIA, but working two jobs has been taking up a lot of time. Great news is that I have been promoted to "key holder" at Hanna Andersson and will be (sadly) leaving Yankee Candle. It is late, so I am off to bed, will try to get back here tomorrow before I have to go to work (day 9 straight)

:surfweb:

I finished my Prince Caspian book yesterday, and I rushed to the library after work, and grabbed The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - I can hardly wait to start it today:yay: I like reading while Stephanie is doing her homework - it keeps her a little more focused on her work:)

piglet - Congrats on your promotion:cheer2: :cheer2: I"m sorry to hear that you have to leave Yankee Candle though - I know you like working there.

Everyone else - :wave2:

Well, I'm off to walk, since I didn't yesterday.
Thank goodness, my morning, today, has been a lot smoother than yesterday:)

Have a good day today!!!

Good Morning Everyone! :flower3: sorry I haven't been around lately, we've been quite busy here at work:confused3 Drew's bday party went well so now it's time for my sister to start packing up their house! i don't know if i mentioned they are moving back to Tinley:banana: I am quite excited about this. The house they bought is about 7 minutes from our house as opposed to the 37 minutes it used to take me to get to her current house. i'm sure i will be quite busy helping her pack and unpack!

Slo ~ glad you enjoyed your book! i bought 2 books a few weeks ago to hold me over until my bday and i'm almost done with the second one already.... i already told my sisters and dad which ones i need so i can't buy any more until after my bday:sad1: what am i going to do on the train for the next 3 weeks i don't know...

piglet ~ congrats on the promotion! i know how it feels to leave somewhere you love to work... i miss williams sonoma greatly but i only have weekend availability and they require at least one weekday shift... oh well, i'll go back there for christmas time! :goodvibes

good wednesday/humpday/ morning to all the chicagoland homies.....

the sun it out and it might be a winner of a day for all of us.

especially for those that are home and have the kidlettes in school today..:rolleyes1

disney gal, that is wonderful, especially since you like your sister a lot.

if one of my brothers moved near me, i still don't think i would see much of him.

the one that lives in hawaii i would love to live right near me.

ok, so i have one good brother and one bad brother......

i'm hoping to read some trippies for the homies that go and come back from the motherland soon.....hint hint....

wow, a dup

2 for the price of one.

wish it was a sale at a store instead.............

i know i didn't scare anyone away......

real life happens and it usually does when i have time for dising........
and you all don't...:rotfl:

bunkin, i hate that someone rammed your car.
that suxs big time.....

the time of getting it done and out of service for you stinks.
such an inconvenience.

i have been seeing some doctors and sick of them.
i almost called the internist up on monday to cancel my appt that morning and say i was sick and couldn't come in .........then i remember that is the reason i was going to see him..

i'm so blonde i kill myself...:rotfl2:

have a sinus infection and the meds will take care of that within a few days.
better to have that now than in the winter.
i would have sat in the house until forever if it was then. i don't like the cold.

i have 38 days scheduled to work already.
i dread going to work as my clothes just don't fit right.

i walk by and look in the mirror and say to myself, who is that fat lady wearing my clothes..........

what a shame i dread work since i would have to wear clothes all day with my bulges showing....i live in shorts at home. they fit fine. (for now)

yankee candle is losing a very valuable employee.
i hope they do a little party type of send off for you....

that's it on my side of the world right now.
hope yours are sunny days and happiness for this week.

just think, as of 5:00 today, only 2 more work days this week :woohoo:

:wave2:

Well, I went and got an estimate for the damage to the car. One estimate for the damage that was done on Friday and another estimate for the damage I did to the car back in June (I think that's when I drove into a pole at the grocery store  ).
I guess, in a odd sort of way, that getting hit by that old man on Friday was a good thing. It saves ME money on my repair bill since the car will need to be worked on for the accident and it is in the same general area, so that saves some of the hourly rate on my end. Knocks off over $400!! Which they body shop will put in writing. :thumbsup2 I guess, finally, procrastinating finally paid off!.....in a totally wierd kind of way.

slo That's too bad you haven't had any one good come in and apply yet. :sad2: If I lived closer I would come in and apply!!! :rotfl2:

mac Sorry you have a sinus infection. I suffer from those a few times a year.

disneygal That is great that your sister is moving closer to you and your dad again! :goodvibes We used to live in Tinley and really liked it. :thumbsup2

piglet Does 'key holder' mean you get to open and close the store?
The phrase kind of reminds me of the movie Ghostbusters......."Hi! I'm the gate keeper!"....."Hi! I'm the key master!" :rotfl:
