OK, back from afternoon out with DOG. Have to share my laugh with you all. Walk went just great. Back home and I decided I would pick up the rest of the winter's worth of poop piles. DH said he picked up 4 shovels full on Sunday. (must have been 4 of the 40)
Well, pup decided he would take the afternoon in the great outdoors to enjoy himself.
We have a corn field behind our house with a run off water path from a creek beside our house. You see where I am going with this already, don't you?!!
Well, by the time I called Tiggs back from the field after scooping the other 36 shovels full of poop from the backyard (which I must add is quite educational - if any of you have ever wondered what a dog might snack on throughout the long winter months of being couped up indoors with only the childrens toys to taste test)he returned to the porch burried in mud!!!!
Now, it's too cold out to use the hose outdoors, so
. I wiped the feet the best I could and proceeded to bring him in and lift him (yes, all 75 pounds of him)into our tub. Thank heavens for the shower head that detaches from above and has a long hose.
So, that was my unscheduled dog bath in my otherwise lovely afternoon.
Becky, your pix are nice of your DD. Good luck with this early rising weekend. I have to work 12 hours both Sat. and Sun. Sunday will not be a nice morning for me here either.

YUM-O!!!!
. Something wierd is definitely going on around here
. It might be worth a check.

Please keep us posted on how she is doing.
Katie said to me, "It's kinda hot, but still cold, at the same time." It was so cute how she said it - cracked me up!!!!!

I don't know if the kids are ready to come home, but I know Kevin always is, because I wear him out
I had several unscheduled baths, because the dogs would come in covered in mud. My Lab wasn't so bad, because he was about 75lbs, but Sampson, my shepherd, was 130lbs, and trying to get him in the tub was always a challenge
Stephanie was in intermediate gymnastics, before I pulled her out before Christmas, and they never looked at a vault. I wonder if they do this at her gym. She'll go back someday, and maybe I'll find out then.
away. Why is it that I have no problem with washing, drying or folding, but when it comes to putting it away, I have a block!!!
