So I missed my normal train and won't make the next one, so I'm stuck taking the 615. meh, just gives me reason to DIS more!

Momto1~we are hoping to have our rehearsal dinner at the Biergarten! It is great food and a lot of fun! We can't wait!

No workout's this morning.
My MIL had Katie take a nap yesterday (when I've told her not to ) and had issues with sleeping. She couldn't fall asleep last night, and was still awake when I went to bed at 10:15pm, and then she woke me up at 4:30am telling me couldn't sleep So instead of getting up to workout, I had her come lay in bed with me, hoping she would go back to sleep - she didn't I've explained to my MIL that when she naps, she can't sleep well at night, but for some reason, she doesn't want to respect that, and puts her down for a nap anyway


Well, I gotta run and get Steph off to school Sorry I don't have much time to post this morning.

Slo ~ That would frustrate me to no end.

Waiting on the Darvin delivery guys. Our window is 8-noon, and since we are so close to the warehouse, I am hoping we will be earlier rather than later. They just left!! Love the couches, they are so much better than the old ones.

Today is one of those days that I shouldn't be here.. went to make my oatmeal.. no bowls .. so I grabbed a cup.. I watched and watched the cup so it wouldn't spill over and wham.!! it was all over the glass microwave tray.. so I put the cup on a napkin, went to the ladies room to clean the oatmeal off of the glass tray ( no we don't have a sink or running water in the office.).. put the tray back and walked to my cube with the cup of what was left of the oatmeal.

I placed the cup down, and went to eat what was left and WHAM it spilled all over my laptop.. so I tried to blot it up but the laptop was not happy..I worked to blot but finally had to go to the IT Director and explain that I had killed my laptop..

he replaced it and gave me a lecture on backing up my files and not eating by the laptop.. I should go home!! and back to bed before I do anymore damage..

gef- I hate those days! I spilled pink lemonade on my laptop. It was only a few months old and dead by the next day!
momto1- I know why I live in IL...xh probably wouldn't let me move to FL!
slo- Speaking of xh and also of naps...he does the same thing to me! When he brought the dcs back on Sun. night, dd said she had a nap. She did not fall asleep until 1 am.! We were watching a movie and I dozed off. When I woke up, she was still up! Luckily, they had a teacher institute day on Mon., so I got her up at a decent time and she went to bed fine last night.
dgal- I've never eat at Biergarten. DBIL loves it, though! Over break, we ate at a German place in OH and it was good, so Biergarten is on our must try list for sure!

I think dh might strangle me. I've asked him a million times what summer session he has to take so I can book our trip. He keeps forgetting to look! I am stressing becasue I want to make sure I get my choice...the promo has been offered for awhile and I am sure is popular for June! I demand CSR! I want to do the buy 4 get 3 free, and then add on a few nights of 40% off with a pin code I got. I know I'll have to make a separate reservation, but I want to have a few non park days to relax, swim, and enjoy the resort. Anyway, I'll nag him more later! Wish me luck!

Katie's sleep schedule was back on track last night - thank goodness!!! In fact, she went right to sleep because she was so tired of not having her normal sleep last night


DG - We loved The Biergarten, and I look forward to returning there someday It'll be so fun to have your rehearsal dinner there

momto1 - I would like this to be the last snow too, but I don't see that happening I think we should all pick up our things and move to Orlando together

Mac - You are lucky you didn't get snow, but one of those last systems you got more snow than any of us, so I'm glad you were able to catch a break

Eric wants to go to the Reel Big Fish concert at House of Blues next Monday instead of studying for finals..His $20 tickets cost $32 once all the fees are added in and I pick up the tickets at will callplus he would need to take the 3:45 train to get DT at 4:38 to pick me up from work to walk to house of blues by 6.. plus how are we getting home?? 10:30 train gets us home about midnight and he has a 7:30 am final..

As SLO said to momto1 -I think we should all pick up our things and move to Orlando together

Good Morning Everyone! sorry i didn't post yesterday... i was quite busy. I came into work an hour early today to do some editing on letters I wrote yesterday but apparently, 1) no letters needed editing, which i find very hard to believe seeing i wrote approx. 60.... or 2) my boss forgot to put them back on my desk after reviewing them so who knows but now i have an hour to play on the DIS!

Slo ~ I completely agree, we should all just pick up and move to Orlando to get away from this snow!!! Mike keeps saying I should send my resume to Disney and I could work there and he could sing for the Sarasota Opera. (he's an opera singer, don't know if I ever mentioned that.. ) but... i'm so incredibly close to my dad and sisters, I would miss them terribly and always be worried I'm missing out on great family moments!

Geffric ~ hope you have a better day today!

Paint ~ what is a pin code???? I've never heard of this before and how do I get one? I can imagine how anxious you are to book your trip. I'm already anxious and we aren't going until September or October....

Morning all. Woke up to more of the fluffy stuff. Glad to be staying in and undecorating.
DS is still sleeping. His temp was 104 last night. I had to pack him with ice packs. Plus give him 1/2 extra Motrin. I hope he doesn't spike like that again.
DG, I peeked at your WJ page. Looks like things are moving right along for you. Good luck on getting the photog. you hope for. It will be here before you know it. Time just flies.
Slo, glad to hear Katie slept better last night. It's rough when kids don't sleep. That = mom doesn't sleep.
geffric, keep your muffin crumbs off your laptop, too. Wouldn't want you leaving behind any evidence after your scolding yesterday!
Bunchkin, how's the baby doing? We need to plan a movie meet again-once DS gets his buns back to school. Seems we have a lot of movie plans in common. More fun to share than go alone.
Mac, how did you miss this snow? Do you still have leftovers from the last go around?
OK, I best get to hauling down all the decor. I think I will have to do what Slo did, though and get out some Valentine stuff. I hate the thought of completely bare windows once again.
Oh, our new blinds are supposed to arrive today. That will give DH something to do this weekend!

i remember those days.
and i remember those nights when son and a friend would miss the last train and i would end up driving down to house of blues at 1 am to pick them up..........i'm so glad that is all behind me.....whew....

We were a long time getting this done, too. Over a year-so don't feel bad.
We first had Empire out for a quote-$3000.00 I told DH he could do it for at least half that I was sure.
So a couple people I worked with said they'd had wonerful luck a good reviews for an online company.... JustBlinds.com . So I checked them out. They give you exactly how to measure and send you samples (small samples-for color options only) and then the website walks you through ordering. I'll let you know what I think after we get them all up.
Thankfully, DH is very handy at this sort of stuff.

We are getting light snowflakes here now again. Hope it doesn't amount to much.

OK back to the undecorating. I have everything down. Now to get the boxes out to put it all away.

Trying to get pics off of my camera and onto the computer....and it's not going well!!! Something is wrong and it's driving me !!!!


I ordered new cell phones the other day and they got delivered last night! Too much info to figure out!!! And I must have went brain dead last night while copying all my contact info onto the new SIM card......I accidentally used DD's new card and then put it in my phone and mine in hers and well.....the whole thing took a while to fix!!! She had my number, contacts, ring tones!!! Live and learn!!
