Calling all Boardwalk experts!

We are hoping to get a 2 bedroom at BWV for Christmas week in 2005, at the 7 month window. What are the chances of that?

Any idea on how many 2 bedroom units they have and if most of them face Boardwalk or quiet areas?

Would our chances be better with 1 bedroom unit?

Pretty good if you call as soon as your 7 month window opens assuming you are OK with a Preferred View - Pool/Garden. My advice is to call day by day and to use the waitlist for any day(s) not availabel when you call.

If you want a PV - Boardwalk view or a standard view, your chances are much less. It's still possible, but not very probable (IMHO).

About 20% of each type of room are Boardwalk views and another 20% are standard views. The rest face one of the pools, the canal, the Swan/Dolphin Resorts, or some combination of those. PV-BW and SV are room categories - not requests,

IMHO, your chances are the same - go for what you really want/need.

We just booked a 2 bedroom BW view last Thurs. for Dec 26-30. When I called, at first they only had a a 2 bedroom for the first 3 nights, I think it was a preferred view, no standards avail. As the CM was checking the computer, a 2 bedroom BW popped up for all four nights.

FYI - Boardwalk does not have any dedicated 2 bedrooms, all are lockoffs (studio/1 bedroom).

I think I should ask my question another way as well....what type of BWV room would be most likely to be reserved at 7 month window for Christmas-NY week 2005...studio, 1 BR or 2 BR? (Last year, I got a BW view studio five months before that week after a waitlist....)
