It's snowing here hard and heavy, the ground is already covered. I saw the first few flakes around 9:30am and it was really steady by 11:00am. The roads are still rather clear right now, but I'm not sure how long that is going to last, especially since the sidewalks are getting a layer of snow on them.
I worked straight through from 7:30am until 12:30pm and finished the meter book which had 170 meter pages in the book. I'm taking a late lunch today.

I "might" see a personal day in the works for Tuesday!!!

Three weeks from tomorrow we fly to Florida for six days, boy, I can't wait!!!!!

 :sunny:  :cool1:  :cheer2:

Ok, Feeling a little silly in light of the snow on the way.

Was thinking about how we are up to 165 people going on this cruise.
Now can you image before we all went to WDW for a grand gathering.

Can you image calling wdw reservations:

Good Moring WDW reservations may I have help you.

Andy, my mother's birthday is March 18!! It also was my mother-in-law's birthday as well. Hmmmm.

Lisa :)

Sounds like March 18th is a MAGICal day!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

O.K., I'm getting ready to go back to work, but I just took these two photos and wanted to share them with y'all. The snowflakes are as big as quarters right now, and the road is starting to get covered. The poor pine tree in front of our house has been taking a beating this winter.

Oh Andy I hate seeing those pictures. It's heading our way ..........I am predicting no Schools open for tomorrow. I am so Glad Chuck didn't drive to New Jersey today. ;) Even though he is still working I know he is safe and sound.

We had some of the biggest, fattest snowflakes today that I have ever seen! Would have been great if I wasn't at work. "We will never, ever close the building again", that was 2 years ago and they will never close again. Oh well.

Heather, thanks for all the kind words. Taking the time to connect with DH is one of the best investments you can make. Smart lady!

Terry, Andy, Sue, Tina, Doreen, Karen, Lisa, Ed, Linda, Mary Rose... :wave2: .

Joanna, Bobby & Cindy...where are you? All OK? :confused3

Made it home safe and sound just as the snowfall started getting real heavy again. It was light for a little bit this afternoon, but it has picked up once again. I cancelled my PT session for today. After walking around in this mess all day, the last thing I needed was an hour of torture!!!

I came home to the smell of Lasagna baking in the oven, boy does it smell good!!!!! I can't wait to dig into that!!!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Andy
Glad you made it home safe, and Lasagna to boot. yummm. :cool1:

My DW is making that for us tomorrow night, We must be in sync or something :rotfl2:

Hasnt started snowing were I work, about 20 miles from home, but it is at home, So I get to drive home as it starts here. Shouldnt be to much of a problem. :rolleyes1

Well back to dealing with servers at work :badpc:

Hazel didn't have to babysit today so she took advantage of that and made the Lasagna today. It sure tasted great, and I'm stuffed. I guess I shouldn't have gone back for that second helping. :rotfl:

Our snow total has been downgraded to 4" to 8" I sure hope the weather reporters are correct with that call!!!

Hi Guys

Hope you are all warm and safe, my goodness some of you have had terrible weather. We have had snow over here today all six flakes fell at about noon and dissapeared about 3 seconds later, but it is terribly cold. I am hosting the March Quiz over on the UK Community boards this month and I am so nervous. I hope all the reading up on Disney pays off.

Ed; As my birthday is on March 31st I will guess that date as the day we reach 200 pages. Love your idea of a large gathering at wdw.

Tina: A helicopter tour over the Grand Caynon sounds wonderful, keep me posted.

Linda; Have a fantastic cruise.

Diane: Hope you are well.

Terry: So sorry you are feeling so poorly, I have just got over the same thing myself, I lost my voice for 3 days, Vicki says "It was a blessing" cheeky girl. Hope you feel better soon.

Lisa: How are you, hope you are well.

Darlene: See you are having the bad weather as well, stay safe and warm. Hope Stan is well.

Andy: Wow what photos,we never get snow like that over here, thank goodness, take it easy out there my friend. Now if you want to put a bit of that Lasagne in the post, that would be grand.

Doreen: Hope you are feeling better, roll on August 2006 and those wonderful smoothies you promised me. Hope Karen is feeling better as well.

Hi to all others:Mary Rose,Joanna, Bobby, Heather and anybody else I forgot to mention.

Oh by the way thanks for all your good wishes for Vicki on her nomination for her school award, I will let you know how it go's.

Take care all

Sue

Andy, I guess you misunderstood me. I said WE would get less snow. Local channel just said 10-16 inches, 20 possible locally.

Stay safe everyone!!

Mary

We are officially in for the night, the snow is still coming down. It is nights like this that I am thankful DS#1 works just down the street. Stan is downstairs watching the weather. Sandra is in her room singing robustly along with her Beauty and the Beast CD. I'm sitting here chuckling and feeling awfully blessed.

Darlene

Hi everyone,

Welcome back, Mary Rose. I missed you. Even though being a "stay-at-home" mom doesn't pay well, the memories are priceless. Glad you like your job. Good luck.

Welcome Heather and family & Ed and family. This is a great group. :grouphug:

Tina - thanks for the PM. It was great chatting with you. The last time I was in Vegas was 1983 and I heard it's so different now. Have a great time.

Linda - hope you have a great time on your cruise. I can't wait to hear all about it. We're going on the Glory 8-20-05. Wish it was tomorrow.

Mary - my DS doesn't wear a jacket either. Right now, he's outside playing football in the snow with his friends. He'll be 19 on 3/15.

Terry - belated congrats on Craig getting his license. As a parent, I worry when Harley goes out. I know he's a good driver and I'd rather let him drive his friends then go with his friends. It's hard to let go and realize they are getting older (especially when I'm not - LOL). It's a great help having him drive since he drives Lindsay to school everyday and takes my mom places for me. Are you feeling any better? Even if you do try the med, doesn't it take 2 weeks to kick in? Hang in there - another few weeks and it'll be spring. :sunny:

Sue - hope you feel better soon. How's the Avon going? My kids bought me the Mickey Monopoly game from Avon for Hanukkah. Congrats to Vicki.

Darlene - tell Stan good luck with his chemo.

Andy - stay safe and be careful in the snow.

To everyone not feeling well - hope you feel better soon.
To everyone else - hope you have a sunny day. :)

Bev ::MickeyMo

Darlene I know where you are coming from. Although it is not snowing here yet we all are safe and sound for the night. They are not calling for it to start here until around 11 this evening. Bryan is doing his thing, Kyle has a friend over for the night as we are sure we will not have school tomorrow and DH is working on paperwork; and myself very happy here on the boards :cool1:

I agree, we are VERY blessed.......but do not ask tomorrow when they are driving me nuts :teeth:

Hi all. I hope everyone is safe at home and not out in the snow.

Ed - 200 pages on 3/14. As for the picture, I meant that it would be you tonight after the snow you get! I have always wanted to take the autotrain! My husband feels that we won't get any rest and the sleeper cars are pretty expensive. Let me know how it is. We are driving down in November. I hope to have a new Toyota Sienna by then. That will make the drive a little easier. By the way, thank you for leaving some food for me. I was able to pick up what I needed today.

Tina - I hope to get to the Grand Canyon someday. I took a helicopter in Hawaii and it was amazing. I also do not think I would do it again. I was pregnant at the time...probably not a great idea!

Sue - Sorry about all the snow you got! :rotfl2: I hope you are felling better! If you keep winning the quizes, they may not let you come back! ;)

Terry - I never mind sharing. It helps sometimes just to know someone else has been there. Let us know what the doctor says. Loosing your mother must be so difficult. My grandmother died 6 years ago and I actually stopped my life for 3 months. We were very close and it was sad to watch her in pain. You sure are quiet tonight. :confused3 I hope you feel better soon. Did the Zyban work for him? Any thunder snow your way?

Darlene - You are welcome. My friend is from NY originally and most of her family is from there. She says she has such great friends here that she will not leave. We will always be there for her as her family goes through this ruff spot. We actually organized an huge garage sale for the family and donated almost 2,000.00 to her family! It was heart warming. Just by your statements, you have a great attitude! You are a very strong woman. I wish I could have half of your strength. I hope we can still go to AC this weekend, I am really needing it!

Beverly - Thanks for the welcome, nice to be here.

Andy - Hope your knee is feeling better. By the way, I am available in 3 weeks. Do you have a really BIG suitcase? :rotfl:

Mary - I hope that you do not get that much snow, but if you do...take care!

Lisa, Ed and Andy - My mother's husband's bithday is also March 18th! It is really a special day.

Here is to SPRING :drinking1 :drinking1 :flower3: :flower2:

Heather--WOW!!! Another March 18th birthday, must have been something in the water, LOL!!!

We'll be flying out of PHL on Southwest.....see you there!!!

My mom said it was a nice 75 degrees today where she lives!!!

Andy thank you so much but,......you forgot to mention what time? :rotfl: Wow, I think 50 or 60 sounds great right about now! :sunny: Good night and take care tom.

I guess March 10th. We have only gotten a few inches now but I am more worried about the Lake Effect to follow over the next few days. Trying hard to get everything done that needs to get done before we go. Hope everyone stays warm and safe.

Tina - Thanks for the thoughts. It really means a lot to me. I will try to email in the next few days. I am a little overwhelmed right now - I am having a hard time getting things done because I just have so much to do I don't know where to start.

Linda
