Totally agree here!!!!!

Makes you wonder why DCL didn't explore doing more islands in the Carribean before deciding to head over to California.

One kid went back to school today and one stayed home. Took DS to the DR. just to make sure its not an infection. Tests were negative so just a virus.

I really enjoy doing web pages like that; ESPECIALLY for a cruise that I'm going on The people we have on the thread on Cruise Critic seem very nice and many of them have cruised on that ship before, and loved it. I also like the fact that it's a 9-night cruise with 4 sea days. I love the sea days I'm also glad that we'll be visiting port that we haven't been to before. I'll miss seeing people wearing lime green though. LOL

Kay: I'm glad that your DD felt well enough to go to school today, I hope your DS feels all better soon

Kay, glad things are getting somewhat back to normal.

It is freezing here in Syracuse, and my wood stove has been keeping the house toasty. It is very relaxing, and enjoyable in the evenings. But the best part is not hearing the furnace click on.

Tomorrow is forecasted for a hight of about 10-15F. BRRRR. Oh, well, it is January and I do love the cold.

Is anyone talking about the CA cruise??? i really want to save $$ for the 2009 cruise with all you guys as we are all celebrating so much.. Jaclyn cant go in 2008 due to college either... Daniel will be 16 in 2009 so we are game for a RCL out of NY or NJ...if Disney wont be inthe CARRIBEAN in 2009...

What else have I missed?? Its is snowing really bad here now.. Jaclyns game is cancelled... (yeah).. My LS mtg is cancelled..

We lost our AMAZON parrot 2 weeks ago so we are looking for a african grey now.. Wont be able to have one until mid March until they are hatched and ready to come home now.. I miss her bell ringing..

We will probably move our "fake" 12/1/07 to the Repo (if possible) and then move it to 2009 (if that's possible). If DCL isn't in the Carib in 2009 either, I'm sure the CCs will come up with something! So sorry about your parrot too.

YES IT IS...2 weeks and 2 days, but who's counting.

I still remember how we use to stand by the restaurant by the internet cafe, how you and I complained how we wanted to go home LOL Hindsight is so 20/20. Why didn't we relax and enjoy it?
I'm looking forward to the Wonder in 2 weeks, I was just telling my DH we should have done the 7 night. But we have to visit everyone in Orlando.

Doreen: I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your parrot. We "met" a very nice African gray parrot on our trip to Vermont a few years ago. Robby (age 10 at that time) really had a lot of fun with it, even fed him his leftovers from breakfast. lol

Here's a better picture of the bird, holding a piece of Robby's breakfast. lol

He was a very beautiful bird.

Joanna and Mary Rose: You were complaining on the Hurricane Frances cruise that you wanted to go home?? I know we had a lot of uncertainties (cancelled flights/delayed flights/cars left at the port/etc) which didn't help the situation, but we knew it was out of our hands anyway and tried to enjoy it the best we could. I really LOVED all those extra sea days on that cruise, and missed having them on last year's cruise!

To everyone who'll be booking the repo cruise tomorrow: I HOPE YOU GET THE CABINS THAT YOU WANT!!!

Can you believe I did not book a dummy date on the August cruise because I was sooooooo sure I wasn't going on another DCL cruise soon? Boy that was not a smart move on my part!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house......ooops.....wrong story......twas the night before the DCL bookings open up in the DIS house.......and I can feel the tension in the air.....

Well....here we go.....good luck to all the Crusin Castaways wanting to book the repo cruise. Have you seen some of the quotes for the Mexican cruises ...its making the repo prices look reasonable

We'll see what the Wonder prices are like....

BTW....inventory control never did contact my TA even though she faxed in a request months ago. Hmmmm....glad I'm not trying for one of the repo cruises.

I told my kids that the Magic will be away and that we'll book a back-to-back Wonder and they both said, "yay, two Pirate nights!!!!" and DD specifically asked that we blow off a dinner and get there early so we can be right up front.

We've been on 2 cruises since DCL started pirate night and both times we got there so late we we couldn't figure out what was going on with the stage show.

Well I won a trip to Florida with Lia Sophia but instead of using that we decided to take the REPO cruise with my son and sister....I am sad that my daughter cant go with us due to college.. Believe me I am very sad.. Sheis my world... But this will give me a chance to spend time with my son before he is tol old and leaves home as well.. Maybe he will even dance with me.. if my legs hold up..lol ( I better not eat salmon this cruise)

We were online at 8am until 1030 to get a room.. Well it was much easier to get the room for this cruise in 2006..

We will still cruise in 2009 and we are hoping the VERY good dear friends we have made on DCL will be right with us as well... There are so many things to celebrate in 2009... And I couldnt do it without my DCl friends and family...

I will post again more often.. but I wish it ws with my REENIENY18 name but I have no idea what has happened to it.. Anyone with any ideas please help me.

That is exactly why we thought long and hard and decided to pass on the EB repo in 2008. It looks like a really, really great group of people are going so it was a tough decision.

We would rather spend the big $$$ for a cruise in 2009.

So instead, we booked the Wonder B2B for......guess what.....August 17, 2008. The same day you guys are leaving on the repo.

Andy, if you will post live reports from the repo, I'll try to post live reports from the Wonder.

Makes sense that after doing a double dip in 2006 that we'll be doing a triple dip in 2008. But we're really excited about two pirate nights in one week.

BTW.....the Sunday New York Times had a big article on best places to go in the Caribbean.

Yep, several from this thread booked the August 2008 PC Cruise. It was crazy yesterday to say the least. I finally got word about 7pm last night that we got a gty cat 9 cabin!!! I'm sure others will chime in later, I've got to get back to work.

No, No, No, the only shirts I'm doing for 2008 repo will be for my family, LOL!!!

Captain Jack Sparrow (Todd) already made the t-shirt and door sign designs for the cruise, he will be putting the designs in high resolution, then whoever wants can get the design and print off their own shirts and door signs.
