Hi Terry, It was great meeting you on the cruise. Please put us down for the 8/16/08, we'd rather go the 23rd but my wife has to be back to work before Labor Day. Look forward to seeing you again.

Has anyone booked group rates through a TA? Chuck Maida said you only need 8 staterooms to qualify for group rates. Do you get that much of a break? We are sailing again with AST (new acronym All Seasons Travel) in 08/08 so if 7 other families want to use AST maybe we can get a discount. Anyone interested?

I don't know how much of a break you "still" get, but in Nov '04, I ended up catching a group ressie w/ a Dis'er, and instead of the Cat 11/Cat 6 rooms I had originally booked, I got TWO Cat 6s for at least $300 less than my original booking, plus $300 in AAA room credits.

A group rate is a smart thing to do, but I will book myself and then throw it to a TA for a group rate before final payment is due and we are sure we are going.

Jeff: It was a pleasure to meet Chuck on our cruise, and AST is our travel agent already, so we'll definitely be booking through them for our 2008 cruise. We'll probably book 2 cabins again, unless we go with a Category 3, but my DH ONLY wants the Cat 3 if we can get one with the Murphy bed in the livingroom (as opposed to in the master bedroom), and there are only 2 or 4 of those, I think. The rest of the Cat 3's have the Murphy bed in the master bedroom. We've already put in a request for one of those cabins, through AST. If you find out about any potential discount, please let me know

On the August 2007 cruises, well I will miss you as I am on the July 28th Med, FOR 2008, I do not think it will be DCL / WDW etc time for something different.

Hi. As most of you know, I am a Travel Agent but I'm NOT allowed to say the things the rest of you are saying because I was told in February by the powers to be, that you can't advertise and I believe mentioning the above (which I can also do for Disney or any other cruise line or any other travel related needs) is what I was told is ADVERTISING.

Sorry for venting, but this board means alot to me and for those who know what I'm talking about, I almost got in trouble for mentioning the Explorer for next August when all I was doing was trying to help my friends. I've been very careful not to discuss anything so it wouldn't be taken as advertsing, yet I see everyone else mentions specific Travel Agencies; names; prices etc. so why can't I say that I'm a Travel Agent and PM me for your travel requests?

Why can't I say that I got a great deal from Sunshine Travel - ask for Bev. PM for the info. Why is that advertising but not the above?

We booked a fake 2007 date with the intent of looking for a summer 2008 date.

Aug 16th or 23th is in the running, but so is July

all will depend on when school starts in 2008.

Since I havent posted what i thought of the cruise I'm doing so now.

I thought it was a BLAST I met some of the most amazing people. I miss them all.


The only thing that pissed me off was the fact that the adult part would let a 17 year old be apart of it when they had no right to be there at all. Security was told about it several times and still did nothing because they think not with their top heads but the bottom if you know what i mean. I Think that they should get security who are female and they should card EVERYONE at the both entrances who wishes to be apart of the adults not only using the key to the world card but also a photo ID to make sure its really that person because anyone can borrow other peoples cards who are 18 and up. Personally I couldnt wait to be 18 so I could finally do the adult stuff and be considered an adult and not a kid nor a teen anymore and to see a 17 year old in there dampered that feeling.

I cant wait until my cruise in 2 weeks hopefully it'll be better then this 1 was with that little facter. but other then that I dont think it could be any better. although it is an 11 day and the fact that i get to spend my bday on it is awsome.

Well the storm came and went last night,


so did the power, It went out around 7 pm and came back on at 4:15 am
In addition we lost two tree limbs which are now laying in my back yard.
Well one is laying, the other is still leaning against the tree, as the canopy is resting on the ground bacing the tree limb againt the tree.

It was a wild night, duing our trip home we manged to stay ahead of the storm, but in the end I guess it caught up with us.

No one was hurt, but now I need some chain saws.
