Oh boy, I thought I had the dates narrowed down, now Angelina informs me that she would like to go to Palo on our next cruise. Angelina won't be turning 18 until 9/15/08, so we might have to sail later than the 8/23/08, I thought we had planned on doing. At least we still have plenty of time to figure all these dates out, LOL!!!

Your Welcome to everyone for the magnet ears and letters. It made the cruise a lot of fun for me. Here are the files for the Nautical Letters and Mickey Ears I did for the cruise.

Use the Big links to get to the picture 100% of the size for printing otherwise the ears and letters won't be the right size for the door. To test your ears, draw a circle 7.5" in diameter to simulate the door number and test the ears look right. I have the letters in a power point where each letter is a different image and can be re-arranged. The image above can be used to cut & paste the letters/numbers you want. Let me know if you want the power point file.

We enjoyed the cruise, but don't plan on cruising again in the near future. We've decided to spend our vacation dollars in Hawaii for a variety of reasons including better/more snorkeling, boogie-boarding, less food, and less expense. I will really miss spending time on these boards and reading all your posts.

Andy: I can understand this! On last week's cruise it was SO great to have Craig with us at Palo and at Rockin Bar D. However, this left Robby out of those activities, and now I wish he was going to be 18 by August 2008, but he won't, he'll only be about 17 1/2 at that point. So...question is...cruise again while he still can't join us at Palo or go to the adult shows with us, or wait until 2009? I can't wait until 2009...who am I kidding.

Anna,

It was great snorkeling with you in Cozumel. My kids talk non-stop of jumping off the boat roof into the water. I think the reefs off Cozumel are still recovering from the hurricane. I know we didn't see as many/variety of fish as we hoped for.

I know two families who went to Hawaii this summer and loved it. Great beaches and great snorkeling.

We'll miss you.

by the way....what exactly is the purpose of nautical letters, other than that they are pretty.

Anna, I will miss you on our future cruises, but I can understand the reasons for not sailing. My family and I appreciate the magnets and ears so much and we have a gret memory because of you..

Terry .. and anyone else sailing in 08...I have to go for the AUG 16 cruise and hope its an EASTERN or something other than WESTERN since I have college bound student.. and labor day will be too short for school notice..lol Heck I am just recovering today..lol

I went to a local store that sells CLINIQUE and told them what happened at the TSA area of the airport.. the girl behind the the counter said " I cant take hearing any more " and she gave me a package of samples.. I was so flabbergasted...That was so nice of her. I was in total shock.. She told me she was flying to ARIZONA neck week and appreciated the heads up..
There relly are nice people out there...

Well, I made it through the work week, and at last can see my desk. So nice and clean. Just had dinner with my son, he is enjoying college life again. Needless to say, mom and dad are enjoying the peace

I still have the smile from ear to ear, and people say the Cruise did me good. Did I look that bad? No... don't answer!!!

Hello All

Well after an extended vacation, we are finnaly home.
As we pulled into the driveway we said very sadly the vacation is over.

It was a wonderfull trip with several firsts for us.

The highlight was the magical cruise with all our friends on the magic

While we didnt get to meet everyone we had a great time with everyone.

We did rebook so now we are waiting for the 2008 dates, but back to back wonder trips in 2007 sounds good.

I am sorting thur 3 weeks of mail, and ugggg bills too.

Darlene - great news that Stan is home. How's Sandy doing?

Andy - my suggestion is to do the 8/08 cruise and do a 3 day for Angelina's birthday. It was nice having Lindsay at Palo's with us.

And speaking of Lindsay, she was taking the suitcase out of the trunk of my car and it fell on her foot. It was black and blue etc etc so I took her to the orthopaedic doctor today and she put a hot pink cast on her leg. Hopefully she'll get it off before we do the 11 day Disney Cruise on 9/17.

I can't believe this, I slept from 8pm last night, until 6am this morning. Going straight back to work, with still feeling ill, took a lot out of me this week. At least I am starting to feel much better!!!

Angelina got her newest iPod to play videos the other night, and yesterday after work I loaded 306 songs into the old iPod. In fact, I fell asleep last night listening to the some of the songs, LOL!!!

Oh, the first load of laundry if done, time to go put that laod in the dryer and get the next load in the washer. Isn't Hazel a dear having the laundry all sorted for me and sitting by the washer? LOL!!!

Morning all,

Well we were greeted by a working bathroom, but not completly finished yet,

The tile and walls are up, but finsh work still needs to be done.

They had a problem with the medicine cabinet as it is large, The space for the lights on the side is too small now.

Overall its looking good but we can't wait for it to be finished.

As for vacation being over, it sucks.

It was a magical vacation and while I must get back to our normal life, it will take a while for me.

Good Morning All-

It is raining here is Syracuse, NY, but that is OK, because it is a good day to get inside chores finished. I was awake early and already at Curves. Have to get there religiously, no more excuses. The cruise pix shattered the self image I had. Cannot believe I gained all that weight. Unfortunately, I like food and having a husband who is an excellent cook doesn't help. But he can also cook healthy, so that is the plan.

My pictures turned out great, thank you Daniel for helping me to get to know my camera. If I can figure out how to download them, I will post some.

We have a big picnic buffet with a jazz combo at the restaurant tonight, then trivia and karaoke. But we couldn't get XOP to play because they were already booked. Maybe next time. NOT!!!

I feel the letdown coming as the vacation seems further and further behind me. I met soooo many nice people, who just were a joy to be around. Thank you all for making me so welcomed.

Darlene, glad to hear that Stan is home and hope he feels better every day. How is Sandy's arm?

Bev, sorry to hear about Lindsey, I hope the cast is off before your next voyage.

You're a celebrity on DCL!!!! If Slash can get into Palo wearing shorts and a t-shirt, then your daughter should be able to get in a few weeks shy of her 18th birthday.

So glad I got you to make t-shirts as my "twice the magic" t-shirt shrank so much that I can't wear it. Whereas yours fits beautifully even after several washings.

Its funny, every t-shirt I've bought in Mexico/Grand Caymen over the years while cruising on DCL has held up extremely well whereas all the t-shirts I bought on DCL have shrunk terribly.

BTW......watch out washing those pirate bandanas.....on the first CC day we found one on the beach (not knowing it was from pirate night) and brought it back to our room. The ink started running immediately.

And when I washed all of ours at home they started falling apart right away in the dryer.

We're getting dumped on by the remains of Ernesto. I actually had to wear long sleeves, jeans and a jacket yesterday.

Yea, life is getting back to normal.....we arrived home to find a leak in our roof. We have a water mark on our bedroom ceiling that wasn't there when we left for vacation. We are now waiting for the roofer to call us back. We had a new roof put on 11 years ago with 20 year shingles. I guess the shingles didn't know they were supposed to last another 9 years, LOL!!!!!

Andy......Good luck with your roof. I hope it doesn't take much to get it fixed.
Also, I agree with Jeff about Angelina going to Palo. If they bend them in the kids clubs, they should also bend them at Palo. And if PJ is there, he would probably do it without batty an eye.

I hope Lindsay's foot heals quickly. I'm so excited about your upcoming cruise. You are so lucky. Enjoy.

Elaine.....you are such a beautiful person inside and out. And your smile just lights up a room. I just wanted you to know that. It was always a joy to run into you on the ship.

Ed....welcome back. Enjoy your new bathroom. I wish we were as lucky to come home and have our AC fixed while we are gone. We're still waiting for that part..maybe next week????

Like Andy, it's time to go do some laundry. I'm trying to get more of the blue flannel outline of Mickey head three circles for more pillowcases. I loved this material. It flew off the shelves. Jo-Ann fabric is doing a search for me. I told them to look in FL since there never seems to be a run on flannel there. They did get in flannel with a pink background and the black, solid, Mickey three circle heads on it. So I bought a few yards of that too. We can never have enough pillowcases here at the house, and as back-up add on gifts. I have 25 soccer pillowcases for my DD's soccer team just sitting in the closet for the up coming season. I might embroider their names on them too. Like I have nothing better to do.
