You're welcome, Andy :sunny: I enjoy posting the countdown each week, it somehow makes the time go by a tiny bit faster. lol

Have a great weekend, everyone! :sunny:

And I hope Marty is doing OK, as well as Stan, Tina, and everyone else who has health problems to deal with. I think that's probably MOST of us, to one degree or another. :grouphug:

Hi everyone

Doreen: How is Marty? Hope all went well with his surgery. Hope you are taking care of yourself too. Here's some PD :wizard: :wizard: for his quick recovery.

Darlene: How is Stan doing? Sorry to hear things are not going so well. Here's some PD :wizard: :wizard: Take care of yourself too.

Tina: I know how difficult this must be for you. It's so frustrating just waiting and wondering what's happening. Hang in there. At least you're a little closer to finding out what's wrong so you can make it right. Hoping you get good results and start feeling better soon. Good luck on Brooke's recital. No matter how you feel, I know you'll be there for her.

Lyn: Great news about your son coming home.
What cruise are you going on?

Everyone, take care, get well soon and stay well.

Bev :grouphug:

Hi all,

PD all to who needs them, :wizard:
I think this laptop may need some too. My laptop from work finnaly died yesterday, so I now have a slightly used but newer laptop, But this one appears to have been availble due to previous problems The external mouse does not click, The memory keeps thowing errors, and the cd drive sometimes works sometimes not. The good news I documeneted so many defects with this one in under a day, It will be replaced with a new one next week., but untill then I will need to limp along.

Well as luck would have it, the pc isnt the only thing limping along, tonight while cleaning up the place for our dd bday party tomorrow, I twisted my ankle :guilty:.

Feel better Ed and take care of that ankle!!!

Hazel received word earlier this evening that her (foster) brother Chris arrived in Iraq today. Chris is stationed in Iraq for the next year. Please keep Chris in your thoughts and prayers.

Andy - hope all goes well for Chris - he's in our thoughts

Ed - take care of that ankle! Youre gonna need it! We're taking you dancing w/us at the Boardwalk after the Ill Cruise

Good moring everyone froma very tired DOREEN... Thank you all so much for the weel wishes for MARTY and I. Darlene, i am not sure how you did it and still do.
He came out of surgery fine. The DOCTOR said his discs were "ABNORMALLY ABNORMAL". :confused3 If he waited any longer he would haven been paralyzed. He had to add a few "BLOCKS to his spine after he removed L1 so I guess he may be 1/4- 1/2 inch taller..lol :goodvibes . Thats what the doctor told me. Those of you that know us can see that I am 5'9 and MARTY is 5'7. He had a drain in his spine and of course a foley catheter.. When they told him he was going to have that MARTY just shook his head. after I told him what it was he gave a good YELP..lol. :teeth:
He is still in the hospital. Its the one I used to work in so he is getting VIP treatment.LOTS AND LOTS OF PAIN as well. LUCKILY... for him , my house is already handicapped accessible from when I was injured. He will need a walker for another week or two., than go to a cane. We need to get him better for our CRUISE>....

THANK you all so much for the well wishes its means the world to me..I have such a busy day today with graduation from JACLYNS school, I am dog sitting this weekend, going to take care of MARTY, DANIEL, my own home.. I will drop on SUNDAY night,,lol :cloud9:

Again thank you all so much.. :grouphug:
Doreen

Doreen--Our continued good thoughts and prayers, as well as :wizard: are headed your way for the "recovery" period.

I just stopped in quickly to check on Marty. Glad to see you were able to post, Doreen. Hugs to you and Marty and the kids. Stay strong, my friend. Don't forgot to take care of yourself, too. I'm not very good at that and I encourage you to remember that the kids still need you as healthy as possible. :goodvibes to you all!

Yikes :headache:, I barely survived my sons tour in Iraq. Andy and Hazel, please know that Chris is added to my prayer list. My cousin's son is there now also.

Ed, Take care of that ankle!

Hello to Everyone Else!
:grouphug: Darlene

Doreen: Glad to hear Marty's surgery is finally over, now the healing process can begin. It is going to be though I know but just remember the outcome will be worth it. Take care of yourself because everyone needs YOU. You know you are in our thoughts and prayers. :wizard: :grouphug:

Ed: Take care of that ankle so it doesn't turn into something worse. You need to be all healed for your trip. :wizard: :wizard:

Andy and Hazel: I can't imagine how scared everyone must be. Chris will be in our prayers. :grouphug:

Doreen: How did Stan make out with the surgeon? You know we are thinking about you. :grouphug:

Tina: :grouphug: :wizard: :wizard: We are thinking of you.

Bev: We are going to Disney on the 23rd and then on the 26th we leave on the Carnival Miracle out of Tampa. This is our first cruise on a cruiseline other than Disney I hope we aren't dissapointed.

Terry: Thanks for the weekly countdown. I look forward to it every friday.

Have a great weekend.

Lyn

Hi everyone :wave2: Just stopping in for a few minutes. We've been out since 8am and will be going back out soon. We had some errands to run this morning and they put a new windshield-washer-fluid container in my van because the original one had a crack in it. No charge! And they even put on new wiper blades. :)

We then went to the music store and bought Robby a couple of "Fender" t-shirts and got a couple of "Ziljian" (SP??) t-shirts for Craig. We also bought wall hooks to hang up Robby's bass guitar and his regular guitar on his bedroom wall. They look great; like wall art, AND they're functional :teeth:

In a few minutes we'll be going out to lunch then do some clothes shopping. Craig needs shorts, and John needs jeans.

I hope to rest tonight! The last few weekends have been non-stop.

Doreen: I am so glad to hear that Marty's surgery went well. Sending good thoughts for his recovery, and hugs for all of you. :grouphug: Like Darlene said, take care of yourself too, you know how it is being the mom; everyone needs you! :flower:

Ed: Sorry to hear about your ankle. How is it feeling today?

Andy: I hope Hazel's brother returns home safely. Your cousin's son too, Darlene.

Bev: How are you doing? I'm sorry I interrupted your business lunch that time when I called :earboy2: We'll have to chat again soon! :chat:

Lyn: When is Matt's graduation? When is your older son arriving from CA? You must be so excited!! :goodvibes

Everyone else: Have a great weekend! :sunny:

Terry: Leonard my oldest son arrives 12:53 AM on Friday and Matt graduates Tuesday the 21st. I can't wait. Our time from the 16th on is going to be crazy. Once Leonard arrives on the 17th that is his 25th birthday, we have a graduation party, the 4 of us will try to get to Ocean City on the 18th weather permitting and we have Bob's family arriving from Holland. Thankfully they are staying with Bob's parents. After graduation on Tuesday we are having a family party with Bob's family and then Wednesday morning Leonard heads back to San Diego. Thursday the 23rd we leave for Disney. It is going to be  and I need to find time to pack. We will have a big graduation party when we get home from the cruise but probably not until the middle of July.

Sounds like your weekend is going to be very busy. It is very hot here and I was planting flowers this morning, but I had to stop and come inside to cool off.

My mom was sick this week and wound up in the ER. They thought she had a stroke but so far it looks like Vertigo. She was unbalanced, seeing double, very disoriented and vomitting. Once they gave IV and meds she seemed to be more of herself. Next Friday we need to see a Neurologist, but the ER doctor said her CT looked ok. Hopefully this will pass quickly. I have never heard of Vertigo, if anyone knows anything about it please fill me in. Thankfully she lives with us and I can keep and eye on her or they would have kept her in the hospital.

Well, I need to get back to work.

Lyn

LYN - I am so excited for you!! The next few weeks will be  busy, but it is all :) busy.

I'm sorry to hear your mom had what we call a "spell". I hope she is feeling better soon. How old is she? Does the heat and humidty bother her?

How is Bob feeling? I'm anxious to hear about your cruise. We have never done anything but Disney either. I'm sure you will have a good time, at least you will be on vacation. LOL.

Take care,
Darlene :sunny:

TERRY
I guess I am really out dated. I have never heard of either one of the musicians you mentioned. They are musicians, right? LOL.

Wow, you are busy. But at least you get your chores done. I blew all mine off today to take Sandy to the local pool. We had a good time, so it wasn't wasted time. Now I'm too tired to start anything. I DID clean the bathrooms this morning. I couldn't play TOTAL hookey. ;)

Thanks for the countdown. We need it! :sunny:

Take care,
Darlene

Lyn: I'm sorry to hear your mom had/has vertigo. I'm glad it wasn't something more serious like a stroke. Sometimes vertigo can last quite a while. I don't know a real lot about it, but the symptoms are continually feeling dizzy. I hope your mom is feeling back to normal soon. And yes you will be VERY busy during the next few weeks, but it sounds like a "good" kind of fun; Matt's graduation, Leonard arriving from CA, your Disney trip, then the cruise!! :sunny: Just make sure to take care of yourself so you won't get rundown for all that you have coming up.

Darlene: You aren't that much out of the loop, they aren't musicians. ;) "Fender" is a company that makes guitars, bass guitars, amps, etc. "Zildjian" is a company that makes cymbals, like for drummers (drum sets). Robby has a Fender bass guitar, and Craig has several Zildjian cymbals. Both of them like wearing logo t-shirts of their favorite brands, so while we're out shopping we pick some up when we see them. Between Craig and Robby they play guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, and trumpet. :rockband:

Your day at the pool sounds wonderful!! I'm glad you had a good time! :sunny:

Hi All,

Thanks for the well wishes, the ankle is tender, but doing ok,
I have it wrapped and as long as I dont turn it the wrong way to bump it Im doing ok. The party for Caitlin went fine, but I am wripped out from all the pre errands today.

Doreen, I am glad the operation went well. Plenty of well wishes and pd for a fast recovery.

I picked up my new glasses today,(reading and sunglasses) boy its nice to be able to see again without using the magifing glass :rotfl2:I can read the maps again for this years trip planning.

Well I heard on Friday, my new laptop (perviously used) that replaced my old one is being replaced. I compained to much I guess about its problems, they decided to get one of the new ones from stock.

So next week I should finnaly have a working laptop again, before my next onCall rotation.

Catch you all soon

Ed

Good Night All,

Just arrived home from a beautiful wedding reception, ate way too much because the food was out of this world, now it's time to retire for the night. :faint:

Ed: Sorry about your ankle.

Andy: Will say an extra prayer for Chris.

Doreen: Sounds like Marty's surgery was scary. Glad it's over!

Terry: You're making ME tired! LOL

Lyn: Hope your Mom gets better soon.

We just changed our Disney trip from the end of July to the end of August. Couldn't pass up that free dining!

Take care all!
Diane

Hi everyone :sunny:

Hope Marty, Stan, Tina and Ed start to feel better soon. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Diane - will you be in Disney 8/19? When will you be there and where are you staying? :earsboy:

Lyn - congrats on Matt's graduation. Lindsay graduates tomorrow night. Graduation is at the school, outside on the football field. Just heard it might rain tomorrow night. :umbrella:

I had a bridal shower to go to today. Then I came home and went to the Cherry Hill Mall because Lindsay said she didn't have anything to wear under her gown for graduation. (She has tons of clothes). Got there 1/2 hour before they closed. Harley went down the shore (Wildwood) for the weekend.

Hope everyone if doing good.
