as for CASTAWAY KAY... I am going to take it easy and do the tubes/rafts.. and maybe the tike bikes with my son.. unless he is doing the teen thing(age13)..

WHEW!!!! It has taken me days to catch up on my DIS reading!!!

Terry, we'd love to join our fellow DIS'ers at Palo's for (both??) brunch and dinner. There are five of us adults - me, DH, Mom, Dad and friend Katherine.

As for linking, that'd be swell too, to any early eaters out there! I have put in my request to my TA for APL. It is me, DH, sons Josh (13), Kieran (9) and Ryan (9), my parents, and friend Katherine and her son Matthew (11).

Been travelling and working too hard, time to put some serious research time into excursions! None planned yet, but I think we'll do just one excursion, probably a cat/snorkeling trip. Any experience on this, anyone?

Also, I'm sure my proud teenager wants to do the Teen excursion ("Wild Side"?) on CC; anyone had experience with this?

Getting more and more excited; hope y'all are too; can't wait to meet you!

It's official from DCL When we can book our excursions For us it's May 6th

In the mail today we got a letter and a travel planning kit for excursions. The letter says we can go on line and book our excursions starting May 6th because we had chosen the Romance Package.

RobinMarie: I noticed in the book that Costa Maya has the same excursion as David & Ivan the only difference is that DCL is more $ and DCL is 1 hour longer.

Terry: Have you done the Chacchoben Mayan through DCL? If so what did you think? When Chuck is home this weekend, we will finalize everything. I am getting soooo excited now.

Has anyone done the parasailing before? Is it really scary?

The parasailing on Castaway Cay is AWESOME!!!. Doreen, her family and I did it and I would definitely do it if you get the chance. You can see all of the island and what a beautiful site to see!

Thank you for the info! I have read some reviews and the group I am hopeful what I have read is true: with Ivan you get a more personal, intimate experience. I am looking for a smaller group setting. If I don't hear from Ivan, that may be the route we will take. Thanks again.

Jaclyns Bday is on Friday so I have been busy getting ready for EASTER and her Bday.. Today we went shopping to look for outfits for her SENIOR PICTURES...I think she took about 2 hrs trying clothes on,, UGH!!!

Hi everyone,

Well I'm really starting to get excited about our cruise. I have no idea what excursions we'll go on because

1. I'm a chicken
2. I'm a chicken

I'm too afraid of going parasailing and most water sports. But they do sound exciting. I'll probably just watch.

If anyone needs a room at the Radisson the night before the cruise, please let me know since I reserved rooms.

If anyone needs transportation from the airport to PC, let me know. Maybe some people can save money and share a limo.

My son is not going on the cruise with us and I switched to a different cabin. It's just the 3 of us.

Karen: I'm glad to see you posting again!

Bev: I'm sure you must feel disappointed that Harley won't be cruising with us It's not easy to see our kids grow up sometimes, is it. Neither of my DSs want to go to Disney World anymore. But at least for now, they still want to cruise with us, so I plan on really enjoying it.

Everyone: I've had a big response regarding the Palo brunches and dinners! YAY!!! But here's the situation: the DCL group specialist that I've been in contact with can't book all of us together in the main diningroom, she can only book 14 of us at a time in the private dining room. So this means that I'll have to divide the group and book 2 separate brunches. She can't discuss dates or times yet, until we're at the 30-days-out mark, but I can make requests. I went back through my emails, PMs, and this thread and I'm putting together a list of everyone who showed interest in brunch. Then I'm going to go through again for dinner.

I'm going to plan the brunches for the At Sea days, this way they won't conflict with any shore excursions. When I post the updated lists on my web site, it's not like it will be carved in stone. lol There is still plenty of time for everyone to change their minds if they want, in case they have a change of plans.
