Jenn, Ed & Mary Rose...Share OH Please share your secrets. I want to also start on NutriSystems for the quick fix and then go over to WW for maintenance. QVC has Nutrisystems with the weekends off program. Hmmm, I should really invest in it.
Joanna

Joanna,
I have been exercising daily. I now eat 6 small meals a day, instead of 3 larger ones. I make sure my meals do not have more than 12 grams of fat in them, and I don't eat anything with more than 2 grams of sugar in them. (dairly products have naturals sugars in them, they are fine to eat.) I eat lots of chicken, oh and I always eat my proteins first. It helps since I'm cutting back on the food. I want to make sure I get all of my vitamins. My doctor recommened this, and it has totally worked! I actually no longer crave the "bad" stuff anymore.
Good luck with everything. It just takes persistance and will power.

RobinMarie: Thanks for the "Congrats" for DS! :sunny: I actually had him when I was almost 27 years old. I am old; just turned 45 last week. :rolleyes1 I don't know why, but I've never been shy about revealing my age. LOL I mean, I hate to say I'm 45 because in theory (and in fact!) it *sounds* so old to me. In my MIND, I'm only about 23 years old!

I have seen pictures of you on your family's vacation site. I did not believe you were a day over 32.

Wow...lots of activity on here since I've been away. I got back last week from a trip to Hawaii with DH and I have just gathered tons of great info. It's nice to be all "caught up" with what's going on ;)

I have been doing NutriSystem since January with great results. Anyone who'd like more specifics could PM me if they'd like.

I can't wait to get excursions booked (only a few more hours to make up my mind, yikes!). I think then it will feel very real!

Moria

I hope to be up this (Tommorrow Am) for the 3 am attemp, we will see
work comes early as it is.

Thanks to all for the kind words on the weight loss,

For those interested, I've been eating about 1800 calories and walking between 10,000 and 15,000 steps 5 times a week ( about 5 to 6 miles a day).

justmestace has posted these pictures of the t-shirts and tote bag available on the Double Dip cruises. I think they look great and can't wait to get some of the shirts for myself! :sunny:

Ok, I officially adore you!! :teeth: :p Hehehe!

Regarding the Palo tea, we definitely are going to try and get reservations once we got onboard the ship. I didn't get up at 3am when it was our day to book online, so by the time I did get on the DCL web site the next day, all of the teas were gone.

Joyce: Welcome back from Hawaii!! :sunny: I'm sorry that Nate and my boys weren't able to meet at Anime Boston. Craig said that he did get Nate's message on his cell phone on Saturday night (he didn't hear his phone ring during the day, even when I tried to call him a few times), but he realized the message was left earlier that day. I told Craig that I thought Nate was only there for the day on a class trip, so I told him that he wouldn't be able to meet up the next day either.

This led me to think about the idea of setting up a New England meet some time this summer before the cruise. Is anyone open to that idea?? I know I've mentioned this before, but now that we'll be cruising THIS SUMMER, I think it's a good time to bring it up again. lol All of you New Englanders, please let me know if you'd be interested in this, maybe a meeting somewhere here in MA, or in CT?? How about Mystic, CT? I'm open to all suggestions! :)

All of the dieters: I'm really, really feeling motivated here by hearing you all talk about your success. At the very least, I need to increase my activity level, which in turn will help my weight loss efforts. LOL Congrats again to all of you on your weight losses!! :thumbsup2

Terry...They are great. They are a great souvenier. What is this I am reading about you doing the Wonder next year.

Tina & Bev...You must work your MAGIC on Terry & John during this cruise as well as others. I would like to see the RCCL thread I started come alive. Lets see, Doreen, Ed, Zack & Alex's mom, Mary Rose, Lyn & Darlene. Hmmm, would have to scan this thread when I have time to see who else is LOCAL.

Joanna - I can't find the other site about the 8/07 cruise. I found it once but I can't remember where. I'm working on some of the others. I need Tina's and your help.

I did finally book the parasailing for 8/25 at 1030am. Everyone in my family is so supportive of me doing this - they all laughed :rotfl2: and said "No way" because they know I'm a chicken. I'll show them. The joke will be on them. (But I really am a chicken.)

Terry - when's the next NJ Dis meet? Whenever it is, count me in.

Well, good luck to everyone staying up.

Bev

Is anyone planning on doing the Palo tea this cruise?

How about tea with Wendy?

I'd love to do both! I will try for ressies at Palo, but how do you go about tea with Wendy?

Terry

No worries about the boys. Nathan would love to meet them, though....funny, I was just wondering about a NE meet myself. I would be open to anything. I would really love to meet folks before we go.

Thanks for suggesting this!

Well

Ive been checking just in case it opened early lol

Well, it opened! :surfweb:

And I booked the Jungle Beach break in Costa Maya - only option available 9am to 1.30pm (though they mention the afternoon but perhaps 1.5 hours of this trip is in the afternoon!).

I booked the Castaway Cay float/tube rental for the two CC days and the Stingray adventure but could only get a 10am slot or a 12 noon slot, so I went on the 10am one. would have like to have gone with Terry and Robin Maries families but obviously it was full!

Looked at the Palo Reservations and there were only two options, dinner on the first night and dinner on the last night - luckily I didn't mind but this was at 8.14am!

So that's it! The 75 day mark is here... See ya all in 75 !

Moira :thumbsup2

Hi Moira! I'm up, too booking our friend's excursions for him. We booked stingrays on Friday at 11:00, and Fury at Cozumel. Palo availablility was as you said - first or last day. No brunch available, either. That only means that we will try to get a reservation when we board. Gregg and I have a dinner reservation for two - couldn't get one for three when we booked at 90 days out - which we will try to change that one, too.

Hope everyone else is doing well. ONLY 75 DAYS TO GO!!! :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo:
