Calling all 1968 & 1969 babies!

Hi - joining in, but a bit late - I celebrated my 40th with my sister at WDW on November 3, 2008 - missed the 'What Will you Celebrate?' theme by a few short weeks, but had a great time nonetheless.
So, happy birthday to everyone and have a great time if you're lucky enough to be in WDW for your birthday - Celebrate You!!!:cake:

I just got back from my 40th birthday trip. Had a blast. Wore my "it's my birthday" button proudly.

My Dear Sandi would have turned forty this coming Oct. 7

I turned 40 last May....but we went to Disney in July...not to celebrate though. I'm trying to figure out how I can get there this year for my birthday though!

Signing in :)

I am from April 29th, 1968 (born and still living in The Netherlands) and will be at MK on my birthday!:cheer2: pixiedust:

Hey Cloggie -

Welcome to Club 40 :wave2:

Happy early birthday!! I hope you have a fantastic trip!! :goodvibes

My birthday is May 10, 1969. I was lucky enough to spend my 39th bday at WDW. This year it's an anniversary trip (17 years!), so I have to wait til Sept.

Welcome to Club 40 ScrapperBelle :wave2:

Happy early birthday to you!

Looking forward to see how long this thread will get. :coffee:

I know, me too! ::yes::

In an effort not to "clog" this thread, I have edited my original post to include a general greeting to all who post in this thread.

Feb. 18, 1969 for me. That means just 16 more days!!!

I know I won't be traveling there on my birthday, since I'm too lazy to drive the 34.7 miles. Plus it's a work day. Plus I'm too old for Disney. Plus, umm...

Does anyone feel like they're 40? :confused3 I'm not sure what 40 is supposed to feel like, but I feel more like 30 than 40 :)

Too old!!! I'm a year older than you so what does that make me...ancient! :rotfl:

You are never too old for Disney :goodvibes

Me neither!! I had always dreaded turning 40 because I thought I would be an old coot. But I feel that same as I did when I was 30. Now if I could just lose about 50 lbs I would feel like I did when I was 20! :rotfl2:

My birthday was a couple of weeks ago. I already celebrated my 40th birthday at the house of mouse and had a great time. Happy Birthday to the rest of you!!! pixiedust:

Hi-

My birthday is January 30, 1969.

I just celebrated my 40th at Disney. We spent my actual birthday at Epcot but managed to hit all 4 parks in 3 days/2 nights. It was a great trip and a nice way to forget the fact that I was turning 40!

I will be doing my 41st but before my birthday again this year (and probably after too!). My b-day is 16th June but I am suppose to be flying back from England on my birthday.

I have to say that turning 40 was awesome and feels no different than 25 for me. :goodvibes Must be from all the pixie dust sprinklings I get. :rotfl: Last year was a great b-day celebrating with friends at WDW at Le Cellier. Might have to look into getting together like that again this year.

Well, i celebrated my 40th last year at WDW, (My bday is May 14, 1968) and just had a blast!! So much so i gotta do it again for my 41st!! :)

Hi Jordancej -

Your birthday is the day after mine! I will also be celebrating my 41st birthday at WDW. If you interested, I will be meeting with some other DISers for breakfast and dinner on May 13th. Let me know if you would like to join us.

I'm turning 40 this year (9/21) and plan on celebrating the same way I did when I turned 30 ... at the Polynesian! :goodvibes

Dh turned 40 last month (and ds turned 16, too), so we're using this trip to celebrate a significant year for all of us. :cake:
