Making our first trip to Disneyland in many years. How does the intensity of CS compare to RnR? Not a big roller coaster fan but I will do RnR. Thanks!

CS has a full loop. Not sure if RnR does. CS is all outside and I always find outside coasters more intense.

They're about the same intensity, but CS is (to me) infinitely more enjoyable. It's much smoother and I can ride it over and over without getting a headache, unlike RnR.

If you can do RNRC you can definitely do Screamin.' I could do Screamin' back-to-back more easily than RNRC. Screamin' is a longer ride but pretty smooth overall.

I love Screamin'. It's not painful like some coasters. The only jarring part is the initial take off, which doesn't really bother me but does bother some people.

Screamin' used to be so smooth. It's not rough like other parks high speed coasters. But I no longer enjoy it to the point that I want to go over and over. My theory is that as it has aged (1st time on it 9 years ago) it's less smooth. Because it used to be my fave. That has switched to BTMRR. The new tracks are awesome! Totally worth the wait.

I feel much more claustrophobic in the Rockin Rollercoaster cars then I do on CS. I'm not sure if it's because you have to step down into the cars or that it's inside a building.

Not that I avoid it. My nephew and I rode RR 14 times in a row in an hour and a half when MK had EMH and was open until 1am.

isn't cali screaming a lot bigger drop? that's what scares me, RNR doesn't really have any stomach losing drops.... it's just fast and loopy

Wow...awesome photo! Do both of them go upside down? (My DS loves rollercoasters with big drops but won't do ones in the dark or upside down)

Rockin is more of a twisting loop than a full loop. I like RnR better than Screamin because of the theme. I think if you are good on one you should be good on both.

Thanks! Yes, they both go upside down. Sorry, no photos from RnR! ;) Indoors + fast movement = no photos. :teeth:

lol...sounds like a challenge for RnR

Thanks...good to know they do go upside down (or twisting loop as in above)

I'm actually not a fan of upside down coasters but love both of these. Go figure. :)

And I've never seen a shot posted from on RNR. I don't recall if they say no photography on that ride but if it could be done I think it would have shown up by now from one of the posters on the dis photographers forum.
