California Grill??

I swore that I read in a post somewhere that the California Grill is to be closed in the 4th quarter of this year. Any truth to that? Just wondering since it is a favorite when we are there in September. Thanks!!

Rumors are flying around about this. We had dinner there on January 24 and our server told us it would close for refurb in January of 2013.

There've been several rumors posted, most of whom are saying their information comes from California Grill servers, with various times given for the rumored shutdown, but Disney has not released anything official at all.

Oh I hope not! It's our favourite restaurant to visit. We plan on hitting it this Sept too. But if it doesn't close until Jan 2013 we'll be o.k. Not very good though for everyone else who loves it.

We ate dinner there on 1/24 as well and our server told us the same thing (even though I heard it here first ). I wonder if we had the same waiter . Still not sure if I believe the "rumor" or not, I am still waiting for Disney to give an official announcement before I start to worry.

It better be open this Oct, as DW and I are planning our 30th anniversary at our favorite eatery. OF course if it's under refurbishment, I'll just have to surprise her with V&A's.
