Thinking about going here on an upcoming trip. Am I going to get dirty looks from all the couples planning a quiet meal for two when I walk in with my girls?

We're an all adult party and if we gave dirty looks to every diner there with children, we'd never have time to eat. Seriously, the place is loaded with kids.

We're a childless couple and won't give you dirty looks unless your children start whinning, screaming, crying, running around the restaurant, or kicking/hitting someone at our table. Well behaved children are welcomed most anywhere; ill behaved children not so much

i think well behaved as PP said is AOK...but if they have a tendency to not sit well for a meal, then i would skip it. Personally, i have an almost 6 year old and a 3 year old and I would not go there.. but that is because a place like that is not very entertaining for them or relaxed and I know they would be antsy.

My kids are restaurant veterans, I just wanted to make sure we weren't the only family with young kids.

Well we are taking DD6 so you won't be the only one with kids. I am bring a few books for her. She loves to read so I figured if the meal was getting dull for her she would be all set without making noise and upsetting other diners.

Believe me if someone is planning a quiet meal they aren't going to California Grill. Don't get me wrong, we love this restaurant and will be dining there our first night on property. We can't wait. But California Grill is far from quiet. I agree with the other posters if your children behave well no one will blink an eye at them. This is one of our DD's favorite restaurants. She is age 12.

Good heavens, no. And California Grille was the loudest "fine dining" restaurant I've been to at WDW.
