I like the menu choices at CG better because we are sushi fans. The views are beautiful but the noise level here takes away all of the feeling that this place could remotely be considered fine dining. If you go very late, after fireworks, it's a nice enjoyable meal with an eclectic menu. I enjoy the sushi and appetizers but I've never had an entree here that I thought was sooooo good. The steak and duck I've ordered have been too well done and the pork was okay. Since then, I've learned my lesson and just get sushi and a salad and my meals have been very nice.
I'm not a huge fan of the menu choices at Artist Point. It's a more hearty meal, all courses are bigger than the ones served at CG and it's heavier than my personal preferences would be for dinner. The decor is rustic, also not a fan, but the views out the windows, especially at sunset, are almost as good as CG's. It's quiet here, at least we've never experienced a noisy meal. The service has always been top notch.
