Am I correct by thinking I read somewhere that they have changed the dress code to include dress shorts for men and boys? It would really make life easier if i didn't have to bring pants for my ds6

Hello,

My son (12 years old) and myself had dinner at the California Grill in August. My son wore casual dress shorts (khaki, sp) with a collared shirt and sandals. This dress was fine.

Some people were a little dressed up but mostly I noticed casual clothes. It appeared that most people changed from park clothes and looked fresh rather than just coming from the parks.

Your son will be fine in shorts.

Yes, dress shorts are acceptable. They don' really enforce any dress code from what I have seen. :(

I have to agree they do not enforce a dress code. When I went people had on tee shirts flip flops and sneakers on!

T-shirts and sneakers are definitely within the dress code. Technically beach flip flops aren't but I would think the more decorative type are fine. Remember, disney's business casual is a LOT more relaxed than what you find at home.

I visited in June and while my family was dressed up for my father's 50th birthday, I noticed most people were wearing more casual clothes. I think khaki shorts and a polo would be fine.

Have a great time!
