I have a premium pass that I just renewed yesterday!! I have a premium pass, because I live about 1 1/2 hours away, and never knowing when I want to go I love having no blackout dates. The free parking and discounts also make it very worth the extra.

I tend to have all my friends give me cash when we buy food and treats and it is great to be able to pass the discount on to everyone.

You also get discounts on DTD too that are great.

I live in Northern Cal and bought the Deluxe AP for our September trip since I knew we'd be visiting again in November.
I don't like to go to DL when it's crowded, so I wouldn't go on a blackout weekend or week anyway.

I take my kids out of school to go during the week.

We will be going again in September for our annual Bday trip, so I'll just book it one week earlier than last year before our AP expires.
This year is my 40th Bday, so my DL hating DH can't refuse.

Maybe we'll take the next year off to give him a break from all the MAGIC.

I mostly bought it so we could get the AP rate on the rooms, it has more than paid for itself with hotel savings alone, not to mention discounts on tours ( I do love the tours!)
