Cali Grill Question and Help

We have a ADR at Cali Grill on Saturday, September 5th at 6pm. I recently found out that wishes is not until 10 pm that night becuse of the MNSSHP. If our dinner is at 6 we will never stretch our dinner out to watch wishes from the cali grill. My hubby and I are taking his parents there for their 34th anniversary dinner. They have never been and we thought it would be special for them.

So, my question is.....has anyone had luck calling 3 days before to try and get a later time? I know the cancellation deadline is 3 days before without getting your card charged. Please let me know. I have currently been checking online 4-5 times a day to see if a later time is availalbe but nothing yet. Please let me know if there is hope.

As long as you eat dinner there they'll give you a pass to return and watch Wishes that night.

Yes, I think you have hope- people do arrive and see their kids not wanting to sit through dinners and cancel places like Cali Grill. I would also keep checking 3x/day! But even if you need to keep the 6 pm time- how about jumping on the monorail and heading over to Poly to watch Wishes on the beach? the kids may like that even more than sitting inthe same restaurant for over 3 hours.
