Cali Grill for Holiday Wishes

I wasn't planning on making any ADRs for our arrival day, but just for kicks, decided to check out what resort restaurants had dinner times available and see if there was anything interesting. Well, a 9:20 reservation to California Grill popped up.

We've never been to California Grill, and its on a night that a MVMCP will be happening so I'm assuming the Holiday Wishes will be around 9:30 (if anybody knows for sure what time they're at, please share!!). If our ADR is for 9:20, will we be able to see the fireworks (either from in the restaurant or on the observation deck) or will we be pushing it too close? Would be such a neat way to kick off our Disneymoon!! Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I don't think the schedule of events for MVMCP have been announced, but the fireworks shows has been at 9:30 pm for the last several years, so it's a good bet that it'll be at 9:30 pm this year.

Given that they ask you to check in 15 minutes before your ADR, I would guess you'll be able to see HolidayWishes from the observation deck. I highly doubt you'd get a window table at that point, so the observation deck is your most likely (and best) option. I kind of doubt they seat folks during fireworks, just because so many folks go out to watch the show. I would double check to make sure when you check in that that doesn't happen, but overall, I think you'll be okay.
