What calendars did you purchase for 2009? I like having a lot of calendars around the house. All kinds- wall, desk, pocket...maybe I need some sort of intervention program.:rotfl:

Anyway, for 2009 I bought: (This is only the beginning. I'm sure there will be more! ha! ha!)

I Love Lucy desk calendar
Tropical Paradise (long, rectangular version)
Beaches (small size)
Beaches (wall size)

Those were for me.:) I bought a Sunflowers wall calendar and The Office desk calendar for DD18 and two Penguin calendars for DD24.

The odd thing about one of the Penguin calendars is that it starts each week on a Monday. I've never bought a calendar before that didn't start weeks on any day other than Sunday.:confused3 If I had known it ahead of time, I wouldn't have bought it! That would confuse the heck out of me!!:upsidedow

What calendars did you purchase for the new year?

I have a pink and brown desk calendar for work, I have a day planner with a calendar for my everyday use, and I made DBF a calendar for Christmas with our pictures in it and famouse love quotes from movies.

DGD bought me two sets for Christmas - the large calendar and the smaller one that matches it.. I need two sets because I'll use one here at DD's and the other up to the lake..

One set is the ocean and lighthouses - the other is ocean/island scenes..:thumbsup2

When my friend was in WDW last month, she picked me up the new 2009 WDW calendar. I love it!!!

Last week, as a gift, one of my students gave me one of those calendars you get FREE from the bank. I left that at school on the Teacher's Freebie table  in the copy room.

I have what my friends call 'The BIG Calendar' on my fridge. It's HUGE (15"x22" when it's opened to a month). The squares for each day are 2"x3.5", and have PLENTY of room to write ALL our appointments, all DS's activities, everything. I started using one 5 years ago, and have converted no fewer than 9 friends/relatives to this one.

I HIGHLY recommend it for busy families.

I used one similar to that when my boys were growing up. I don't need that kind of detail anymore though. What I'm trying to find is one that you can write on in pencil & actually see the pencil-writing. Most of the calendars have the shiny paper that pencil just won't show up. You have to use pen, and then if you have to erase, it's a mess!

Ahhh, see, you are one of my people!!!

DH will write anything on the calendar, willy-nilly, and he'll use PEN :scared1: . My "Big" calendar has unshiny paper, so I can use my pencil......
