Caleb's Wish trip!

I have called about 20 times...and nothing...today they had a 5, 5:15 or 6:45!
I couldn't believe it!
I guess lots of people are canceling!!

I know you will have a great time. It would be nice if the crowds were down. I can't believe you leave in only 6 days!

We are down to single digits! 6 more days!
I work this week and we have something every evening as well!
Mon- Caleb has a music program at his school
Tue-My school district has a teacher appreciation dinner for the teachers
Wed-church
Thurs-Caleb's send off thumbsup2
I am hoping all these activities will make the week go by faster!!
I started packing our medicines and Caleb's medical bag.
So I guess Fri night will be full of laundry and serious packing!!
This time next week we will be at Magic Kingdom!

Does this mean that the school year will go that much further into the summer? I have been trying to figure out how all these things are being handled. I can see some pretty upset parents over it. Especially when you have other kids in other schools are out. Wow!! Hope it is just the one. Any idea of the child traveled to Mexico or got it somewhere else? Guess it could be an adult.

I have heard that TX is having some issues down there! I know you guys don't want to get sick though!

No...I don't teach where my kids go to school! I am hoping they close too!

We didn't have to make up the weeks we missed after Katrina, either. Something about a Federally Declared Emergency relaxes those attendance rules. At least in Mississippi.

No...they told me they don't like to do trip extensions because people abuse it...they don't return the rental car when their "real trip" is over. And run up the bill for MAW.
So I didn't push the issue! I think we will be exhausted after 1 week!

We had a surprise visit already this morning (she called 1st though)!


At 7:10 this morning our wish granter called and asked if she could drop off some stuff before our party....SURE!

So she brought a packet from Disney with a book, stickers, park info DVD, and a photo mat.
AND a HUGE packet from MAW with our itinerary, tons of info about GKTW and the parks, our expense check, and park and fly passes.

She also brought the kids each a little stuffed animal. (sorry it was too early for me to think of taking pics!!....now I am mad at myself!!)

Our party is Thursday night...but she wanted to go ahead and get that stuff to us! She lives about a mile from us...so she just dropped it off on her way to work!

Caleb's send off party was a lot of fun! We had about 50 people there...friends from school and church. And the mayor came and proclaimed May 7th Caleb *&@% day! We had lots of yummy food and then we played dodge ball! I think the adults had more fun than the kids!!

Our wish granter brought our MAW shirts, buttons, hat , backpack, and the kids each a toy (Caleb got a car, Aubree got a doll, and Emilee got a webkinz)
SO now we are just waiting on Saturday!!!

Caleb's party was fun! My girls did not want to leave. We can't wait for our party in two weeks! I know Caleb and his family will have a wonderful time!!!!!
