Cake Topper Help!

Hi everyone!
I know there are a lot of creative people on this board and with a few weeks to go I need advice!
We have decided on a Mad Hatter cake for our wedding- even though we are trying to do things pretty formal/traditional, we wanted something very Disney! However, we have no idea what to do for a cake topper and our planner hasn’t been too helpful!
Our colors are chocolate, champagne, touches of gold, and ivory (the flowers will be chocolate and black magic roses). Our invitations had the castle on it and we decided our table names will be Disney couples. We have seen some really neat cake toppers- we almost went with the frog with the crown on its head, but we want something different!
I know this is a broad question, but I am truly stumped. Please help!!!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

The first thing that comes to my mind... is to have the mad hatter's hat on top of the cake...with a playing card stuck in the brim.

Here is what they did for our mad hatter cake. The teacups were made out of chocolate. I also like the idea of the crystal monograms or a crown.

Do you think they could maybe do a Scottie? I love my dog and am sad she won't be at the reception- nice way to have her there.

Awwwww...I love scottie dogs! I bet they would make a really cute scottie dog for you for your cake! I think it's a great idea that adds a little something personal.
