Cake & Champagne Reception Question

Hi everybody

I've got a question regarding the cake & champagne reception at GF. After the wedding I am hoping to have the Afternoon Tea in the Garden Lounge and would prefer to have the cake and champagne after this. Does anybody know if this is possible? Also where is the reception held?

I'm not sure if this is possible, but the GF receptions for Intimates are at Commander's Terrace. A few people have posted some pics of their reception there - a search should bring those up. If you're able to, it sounds like it would be a great idea though.

Definitely check with your EM, but I do think it is possible. There is most likely going to be some kind of additional delivery/set-up charge and possibly some other "rules", but I don't think it's anything too hard to abide by!

I am having afternoon tea at the Garden Lounge but I am having my cake and chapagne first. I dont know if you can do it the other way around but its worth a try.

i think it'll depend on how many other intimate weddings there are that day, cos they'd be haveing their "reception" after their wedding so DFTW may not be able to fit you in. its worth giving them a ring and asking though.
