I would love to try the bakery on our December trip but I'm curious about parking at the Boardwalk. I'm not sure that's a thing without a dining reservation.
Yes, that might be a problem. You could park at DHS and walk/boat/Skyliner over, though.I would love to try the bakery on our December trip but I'm curious about parking at the Boardwalk. I'm not sure that's a thing without a dining reservation.
That's a big slice of cake! Definitely can be shared! Looks rich, too. Can't wait to try in 3 weeks!
Others made the point but since you quoted my post..And yet, CBS isn't taking reservations.
Unless they considered a reservation walking up and putting your name in, which I wouldn't call a reservation and I certainly wouldn't expect a critic to say so either
The food and atmosphere seems better then many posters assumed. The price and atmosphere appeals to some guests and not others. Disney has tons of restaurants. There should be different offerings available.
Yes, we're probably right. I'm glad you agree with me.Yes. He’s absolutely mortified at the money making machine of a business he birthed and wishes he’d started a charity
Flying Fish might be the best meal we’ve ever had on property. We were so surprised it was so good and I feel like no one ever talks about it! I hope you enjoy, and I hope your cake afterwards lives up to the hype.Since we usually only do one Signature on a trip and I already have my heart set on finally doing Flying Fish in May, I may just get cake at Cake Bake for dessert afterwards.
Yes, it is! This is the award-winning Earl's Court Cake. If you're doing savory food, I always recommend the Ham/Rosemary/Goat Cheese Quiche and the Chicken Velvet Soup. That's a big slice of cake! Definitely can be shared! Looks rich, too. Can't wait to try in 3 weeks!
Hush! Don’t tell anyone cuz it’ll make it hard to get reservations…Flying Fish might be the best meal we’ve ever had on property. We were so surprised it was so good and I feel like no one ever talks about it! I hope you enjoy, and I hope your cake afterwards lives up to the hype.
Oh I’d love to do this on our next trip. Is there a way to just order to go from CBS?Here’s a possibility: Have dinner at FF and dessert at CBS.
Do you mean for desserts and baked goods? There is a separate bakery next door to the restaurant. You just get in line.Is there a way to just order to go from CBS?
Just to add to the great response by @snacks you can purchase by the slice or even get a whole cake to go. Also as a reminder that the cakes are made fresh daily and don't have any preservatives so don't expect to keep them around for a week.Do you mean for desserts and baked goods? I would expect some flavors to sell out on select days. However they have not been open very long so we will have to see how the pattern develops. They do have a purpose built Commercial Kitchen off-site so maybe they will run 24/7 if demand is really, really strong.Do they run out? Like if we go after Epcot, can we expect cakes to be sold out?
I love FF and have interest in CBS but comparing the cost of an app or dessert to that of a dinner doesn’t really work for me; two different eating experiences which is what I really care about. Still however it works for you is what's importantAfter watching most of the recent video reviews, I'm actually anxious to visit. And when I compare a $24 app and a $54 entree next door at Flying Fish, I believe I'll get out of Cake Bake for less money.
