are there cab's available outside of the park entrances? I am interested in going from animal kingdom to disney springs...

Yes. There are taxi stands outside of the parks.

Alternatively, you can take a bus to one of the DS area resorts or to the Port Orleans or Saratoga Springs and take the boat over. It would be a cool ride.

If you're not time crunched, the cab would be an unnecessary expense. Pick a resort maybe you've never seen before and take a Disney Bus from AK to that resort, grab a drink and take a bus from that resort to Disney Springs. But yes, if you want a cab they are available outside of each resort and park.
