I say Cabins!! We LOVED our stay at there. We went in December and used the deck everyday! I brought a few small toys to keep my (at the time) 4 and 1 year old busy while we got ready in the morning and other random time. They were able to play out there while I made breakfast or even if I was doing something in the bedroom(there's a door from both the bedroom and kitchen area.) At night my husband and I sat out there. All the cabins were decorated for Christmas is added extra magic. The privacy was great and you have lots of options and room to work with.
We also did breakfast at the cabin before the parks. It was great to have everyone fed while we were getting ready in the room, felt like a big time saver. I can't wait to book there again.
We didn't care for the internal buses. They weren't terrible, BUT did take up some extra time. We ended up getting a golf cart for the end half of our trip and will 100% do it again next time we stay there. The boat to magic kingdom was AWESOME. and very quick at park closing. Plus you're guaranteed a seat.
The other down side to us was the lack of a traditional food court like you'd get at AOA. I am glad we brought Lots of snacks, fruit and a few quick lunch/dinner options for the kids.
