Hi,

We booked our 7-day Eastern for next April. We have cabin 2564 -any opinions - good or bad on this room?

Thanks!:bounce: April can't come soon enough!!

I can't tell you anything specifically about that cabin number, I can say that we have cruised the last 4 years and have always been on deck 2 and have never had a problem......I believe your cabin will be about midship and close to the elevator and stairs......hope this helps somewhat.

Thanks! I'm a little concerned about being by the elevator & stairs. Convenient, but maybe noisy? Hmmmmm....

Actually, it's been very quiet each time on deck 2 for us, never had a problem with kids running down the hall or a lot of commotion near the stairs/elevators.

That should be a good room. You have an Deluxe Oceanview Room.......so you should be fine! And for the most part, the ships are very airtight and soundproof......

Enjoy your cruise!:Pinkbounc

Which week in April are you going, (first or third week of April) We'll be on the 7 day Eastern on April 3, 2004.

xABearx: Do you remember any of your Cabin No.'s? We are in connecting 2122 and 2124 and have been concerned because these rooms are on the noisy list. It is great to hear that you have never had a problem on Deck Two.

Gloria,

We were in 2122 and the only problem with noise that we had was from the alarm clock in 2124. Since you've got that cabin too, it shouldn't be a problem ;)

We also heard a bit of noise the last night - from porters loading luggage, perhaps? But it didn't last too late and wasn't particularly loud either.

Have fun!
Julie

Hey Kalama!!

I think we're going to be neighbors! We're booked in 2568 for the same cruise. Any kids? We're traveling with our daughter who will be turning 8 on the 25th (day after the cruise) in 2004.

Our rooms over the last several years have been in the 2500 range, don't remember the exact numbers, but, they were always close to the reading room which is near midship.

Hey tinkattitude....small world. Yes, we're bringing along one very happy 6-year-old. He just loved the first cruise we did last year and can't wait for this one.

Hi,
We just returned from the June 21st western and had cabins 2583 & 2585 they were connecting rooms . We loved them it was quiet and seemed less rocky then our last cruise in which we were on deck 7.
Good Luck Chris

Thank you for the reply to my question in hunt of anyone who has stayed in Cabins 2122 and 2124. I feel much better now. Traveling with little ones who usually go to bed early, I am always concerned about the noise issue.

Gloria

P.S.--The alarm clock problem would probably be from our Cabin since we are early starters. I will make sure we shut it off immediately!!!

Hi. Has anyone stayed in a category 4 before on the Wonder? We are right up there at the front of the ship which makes me a little nervous as far as getting sea sick. My daughter gets car sick, but not plane sick so I have no idea how a ship is going to be for her or the rest of our gang. Anyone going on the 3 day October 9th? I'm a first time cruiser and I have so many questions, and I get butterflys everytime I even think about this cruise. I'm so excited!
