Cabin Decoration through DCL?

Has anyone ordered the cabin decorations through DCL before? This is our first (and most likely last) cruise and I really want it to be special for my kids. I was looking at the Finding Nemo decorations or the the glow in the dark Star Wars ones. Has anyone done these? Are they worth the money?

never paid for them, but our TAs have paid for them in our room for us. "Worth the money" is subjective. You know you could buy similar things at Party City or Walmart for 1/10th of the cost, but at the same time, when you open the door of your stateroom for the first time and its decorated and kind of overwhelming and you see your kids eyes looking around at everything, yeah its probably worth it the first time.

My DH had our room decorated for my birthday, which just so happened to be our Castaway Cay day. To come back from a day on the island to a decorated stateroom was too much for me and I started to cry. They did a great job and the decorations were high quality so I brought them home and still use them when it is my kids' birthday.

We have done the Finding Dory and Star Wars (not the glow one) decorations packages. I got them mostly for the blankets which we LOVE and use all the time. The picture frames are cute, pretty big. The hanging decorations look great when you walk in but we end up moving them to the edges of the room so we don't constantly bump into them. Window clings from both are great. I reused the hanging decorations as door magnets on other trips, just cut the strings and stuck magnets on the back.

Worth is very subjective. We have done two different packages, a welcome to the cruise one and a birthday one. The reactions were wonderful so it was worth it for us.

We did the Halloween one and my daughter was thrilled! We brought home the decorations and will use them at Halloween this year.
