Has anyone every stayed in this cabin? It's in the middle of the ship-which is supposed to be better if you are prone to sea sickness (don't know-1st time cruiser). It's the last cabin in the row and then there is open space... Is that good or bad..anyone know?

Thanks,

Karen

Karen, here is a link to a post that I had a while ago. We are supposed to be in 6099 on our May cruise. We are on the other side of that empty space. There was a reply that refrenced 6089 in my posts. We are going to stick it out with our room until we get there. If there is a problem, I see if we can be moved. Erin

kc and sunshine-thanks for the response. Was your room noisy? See the post below yours from Erin and let me know what you think. Thanks.

Erin - thanks for the info. When are you going? I don't know if I should try to call and change it or not. We were on a guarantee status until we received our documents and we just found out the stateroom.

Erin - thanks for the info. When are you going? We are going on the May 9th, 3 day cruise. I don't know if I should try to call and change it or not. We were on a guarantee status until we received our documents and we just found out the stateroom.

There was a slight humming noise but it wasn't loud.I slept great and even was woken up by room service one morning. I think you'll be fine. I have no idea what that person is talking about in 6099-we didn't have any problems with noise.

Thanks kcandsunshine. I hope that it's the same on the Wonder. I guess I'll just wait and see. I don't know what I'd do without these boards! I've gotten so much info from everyone here.

Karen,
We are going on May 19th. How about you? I tried to change mine, but we booked through DVC and I would have had to pay another $75 exchange fee just to change rooms. I was going to argue with DVC about it, but I called DCL just to see if there were any more CAT 11's available and they said that they were all booked up(this was month's ago). Since they were completely booked I didn't bother DVC any more about it as I didn't want to spend more points on a higher cat. room. I am just going to take the wait and see approach to it, and if there is a problem when we arrive, I will complain. At least I'll know that I'm not the only one that has complained about the room. (on the Wonder, and on the Magic) If you have the option to change, you might try, but it doesn't sound like your room is as bad. I'm trying not to worry about it, which is hard because I'm a compulsive planner, but I don't want it to ruin our first cruise. If I remember right DCL told me that the empty space was a houskeeping closet, and he couldn't understand why there would be much noise from there.(?)who Knows? Erin
