Hi! We’re sailing on the Treasure in March (second time, love the ship!) and sailing Concierge for the first time. We’re set on getting a cabana at CC and have been reading the reviews here for best locations for our family with kids.

But with the addition of the Mickey & Minnie Cove Cabanas…how does that change things? Is there a handy map showing the location difference between the two sets? Where would you book (Family Beach or Mickey and Minnie Cove)??

I’m asking recognizing that Mickey & Minnie Cove hasn't opened yet!

Thanks!

The Mickey and Minnie ones are next to Serenity Bay. When I was in the water at Serenity, I could see them. This was in August and they were still under construction. I couldn't see at all what the beach would be like and it seemed like they were a bit far from the family food and snorkeling area. Of course, that could be much different once they are open and they have a walking path, etc. If I had kids, I'd try for the older ones if I thought my kids would want to spend time in the busy areas.

We've done cabanas on CC 3 times and all were on the family beach - was close enough to all the stuff there to get to easily. We didn't have kids when we did those ones though. We will be back on CC next Feb and got the Grand Cabana.

I think we'd prefer the family beach ones to the new Mickey & Minnie ones based on location alone, but don't know for sure!

Think you'll really enjoy whichever you get, and concierge is amazing as well!

We were at Serenity Bay 2 weeks ago and they were dredging the sand in front of the new cabanas. Maybe making the beach larger? And they had built a giant building behind serenity bay BBQ that had a new restaurant/eating area vibe to it.

Similar to what others said above, from serenity bay last month, it didn’t look like there was much beach in front of the new M&M cabanas. If you want your kids to actually enjoy playing on the beach, I’m guessing it will be less nice, but if you’re just adults who want to be close to the water (and don’t plan on trying to get to the other activities) it could be nicer?
