How do you get a cab from a hotel on Harbor drive? Do you call them, or does the front desk? Do any of you have preferred cab companies? THANKS

If you split a stay between two onsite hotels will they take your things over to the other hotel? We are currently staying offsite and although my husband doesn’t think it will be a big deal to carry everything and possibly go through security with it. . . I am staring to think it may be a hassle so I am considering onsite, but not where we are staying for the rest of our trip.

THANKS

If they were willing to do it for you, you would probably ending up paying /tipping more then it would cost you to just take the cab from the Candy cane! Plus you would have the added cost of staying onsite.

Linda brings up a good point. At $2 a bag that can add up. A cab from CCI to the Grand CA will probably be around $10 with a nice tip. And this type of baggage transfer always makes me tip twice. And often when I switch resorts at WDW I end up feeling like I should tip twice, since two different bell staff are handling my bags. But if you decide to stay onsite both times, they will definitly be glad to handle the transfer.

For the cab - do you call one? Do any of you reccomend one?? THANKS!

I would just ask at the front desk of the hotel. Just call from your room and ask them, they'll help you with it.

Yes the hotel front desk can handle it. I have done this a couple of times from places on Harbor to the DLH, its very easy and very common. It generally takes just a few minutes, there are always cabs in the area close by.
