We'll be taking a town car service to the terminal, but when we get back we wanted to just grab a cab. Are there plenty of cabs looking for fares, or do we have to make those arrangements ahead of time?

When we got off the Magic this past saturday there was on cab waiting in the parking lot. He was just leaning on his van waiting for someone. There was a line for the Budget shuttle and we decided to take the cab to Budget to pick up our rental. He charged $8.00 to the Budget location. It was worth it because there were at least 5 or 6 large families waiting for the shuttle. We got off the ship about 9ish.

I do not know how many or how often cabs are there usually.

We wanted to make sure we could go to the port earlier than 12:00 which is when the shuttle service said was the earliest they would pick up.

I called many taxi services listed in the business section for Cocoa Beach and most were not in service.

I finally got M & H Taxi 1-321-784-4499. They told me to call the day we arrived to set up a time. He also said I could call that day if needed. He told me $10 for the 3 of us from the hotel to the port. He was very nice.

I hope this helps. I assumed you would be staying in Cocoa Beach after the cruise.

Have fun!
