cab from AoA to CSR?

I'm thinking about taking a cab when we change resorts - AoA to CSR. I'd like to go ahead and have my luggage, and not have to wait on it so we can unpack and go to the parks. Also, Google says it's only 3 miles. Any thoughts on approximately how much it would cost? And how hard is it to get a cab at a value? I don't remember just seeing them sitting out front.

Figure about $15 plus tip - anywhere onsite has become increasingly more expensive in the last few years. I've not done that exact route but we take taxis a lot onsite. Last trip the minumum fare was $18 plus tip.

There are cabs waiting at all parks & resorts. You don't often see them because, well, they don't want you to! Just ask at the front desk, bell services or if there is a CM out front, they will get one for you.

Do remember that check out is 11am, and at most hotels, check-in is not until 3 or 4pm. You're not at all guaranteed to have a room ready when you arrive. It may just be easier to let Disney move your things for you.

3 mi. should be about $10 + tip.

There are plenty of cabs at the value resorts.

Thanks everyone. I used the fare calculator and it estimated $11. I wouldn't mind that for the possibility of being able to go ahead and unpack before we leave for the day. We have Epcot then Hoop-de-do for dinner, so it will be late when we get back.
