CA Grill can we pay kids meals oop on DP?

We did this last September with the free dining plan, but need to know if anything has changed (since they asked for my credit card this time) if we want to pay out of pocket for our kids' meals and save their credits for later? I hate to waste 2 credits each on their meals if we all have to use the dining plan. Thanks for any information.
