Wow, that's awesome! I would love to see the video if you get it posted. Hopefully I'll be able to see him when we go to SWW next Friday.

Some reports on another board say that C3PO is definitely not part of Entertainment, be it still WDI in testing, or perhaps a joint Lucas/WDI, or even just Lucas, it seems to be a SWW exclusive.

OH MY GOD!!! That is awesome!!! I need to get back during a SWW again! Between this and them also adding M2-MK (am I right with the initials?) with Jedi Mickey! They just keep making SWW better and better. Would love to see some video of 3PO interacting with guests. I'd so try and ask some geeky stuff to him lol. Just makes me REALLY wish they had star wars characters out during now SWW periods.

Those videos date back to 2008...did C-3PO appear at SWW then and did he speak guests names?

To PP, I'm not sure. The last SWW that we attended was in 07 and he definitely wasn't there then. From what I can tell, the C3PO character first appeared at the Comicon shows. I would image that, with this being a big year for SW stuff in Orlando, Lucas & Co. authorized his appearance in order to get him acclimated to the happenings at WDW. But again, this is only my hunch.
