They are also selling an la carte single serving dessert and fountain beverage. I hope this is a trial and something they will consider continuing if it is well received.

Are they nuts? I was complaining yesterday after paying $4.50/slice at Disney on Ice in Philly. I thought that was a rip-off. No way would I pay $6.50 for a slice of pizza.

well, if it's 1/4 of there individual pizza , that's going to be a good-sized piece. The ind. pizza is square and cut into 4 slices when they serve it. We each had an individual pizza, and could barely finish 1/2 each. I don't think $6.50 a slice is bad at all for theme-park prices (for comparison, the closest mall to where I live sells paper plate sized pieces that are about $5 a slice.)It would make a great counter service meal on the dining plan if they include a soda & dessert. Hope that will be the next stage.

I think it is a good idea for people who aren't sure they want to fork over so much money to dine at a pizza place. $6.50 is awfully high but you may be saving yourself some money if it turns out the pizza is not really your taste or style and aren't stuck with a huge dinner bill!

I wouldn't look for this to last past the holiday season. I don't see any indication that they accept DDP CS credits for it but because they are including a dessert, I bet they do. And people on the plan don't care how much the pizza costs. Only one type of pizza (margherita) and one dessert appear to be available for carry out by the slice.

We are arriving on the 3d and plan to be at Epcot that day, We'll also be ther eon the 7th. I'll have to make a point of trying the pizza. We are uncertain about doing a full meal there so this will give us a chance to try it out!

Dh and I had the Margarita Pizza 3 weeks ago. It was fabulous!

We truly enjoyed it and actually went back 2 days later because we enjoyed the pizza so much!

We ate there in November, and my wife's pizza was decent. Everything else was terrible. (Oh, except the lemonade, that rocked, really sweet, just how I like it.) And I mean REALLY terrible, would never eat there again. But for pizza by the slice, it might be fine as a quick counter service alternative. (And maybe they'll serve the lemonade as well!)

save your $6.50 and go get good pizza elsewhere. via napoli is overrated, even by disboards standards
