By any chance... did anyone tape the Grammy Awards???

SSB neglected to tape the Grammy awards, and missed some parts that I would like to have seen... as well as would like to see many segments again.

By any chance, did anyone tape it... and could I pay for postage both ways to borrow the tape for a while?

I know a longshot... but figured worth a try, as SSB actually met one of my best friends (TigH) by sending a Survivor Finale tape to her couple of years ago, after she posted a note similar to this on the DIS.

I didn't tape it, but I did download Outkast's performance from a Usenet newsgroup. That's also where I got the episode of Survivor 8 that I missed last week. You gotta love the internet.

The video was not on a website but in one of the alt.binaries newsgroups on the web. My ISP recently switched to giganews and I was "exercising" my newsgroup reader before Adelphia and Giganews imposed their download caps (or limits). I don't know if I could find it online again or if the files are even still there.

SSB – if you can’t get a copy of the show how about going to www.grammys.com in the multimedia section there are great pictures. If you click on previous/next fast enough it is like being at the actual awards show…. Hey Ya!
