Well, first thing I would request, personally -- would be NS. Do you have small kids inthe party, or a need for a tub / storage space? If so, put "Non-HCA" as well on the list. And sisnce you're traveling wtih family (and ASSUMING you like each other) I would request that the ressies be linked, rooms close together, or some such request to try to keep you together!
After that -- it's a matter of personal choice. Most of your 2 br std view arethe villas that face the front loop / entry. If you want to walk as little as possible, ask for "near elevator". 2nd floor is lobby level -- some folks like that floor to avoid the elevator altogether. Do you like ground level, being able to walk right out your villa, or do you want to be up higher, to see more of the landscaping? Put "ground" or "upper floor" if you have a preference. As for the fireworks -- if you want a stab at viewing the highest EPCOT fireworks, you should put, "Top floor, FAR from elevator" or something like it.
Now for the same words of wisdom you're gonna get over and over when you put in a thread like this: it's a request. No guarantees.
Just as an aside -- we just stayed in a 2br at BWV, std view. We were in rooms 4083 and 4081. THe view was of the entry and to our right, the grassy area and pond, and in the distance, the parking lot. I'll see if I can upload an image and post our view on this thread -- it will give you a better idea than my words will, I'm sure. We could only see the very very highest fireworks -- BWI blocked most of the view. I think a room down around the 41xx area would net you a better view -- however -- you could just as easily get a tree and get nuthin but leaves! At the end of a hall it is usually quieter -- less foot traffic going by your door. But honestly, we were farily near the elevator, it was PACKED, and EVERYONE was in the hotel (it was a hurricane -- where else would we be?) and yet... we never heard hallway noise of any extreme! And since no one complained about us... well, I have to believe the sound-proofing is pretty good!
Hope this helps in some way...
