Me again!!! I saw this morning that BWV has 3 of our nights available in Nov. I was thinking of waitlisting BW. We are currently booked at SSR in a preferred room with a request for Congress Park. We have not stayed at BW since 2007. We are going down for 4 nights Nov. 9th for a non park stay although we might do one day at Epcot. How is BWV studios these days? Have they been renovated recently?

BWV had a full refurb in 2016, so the studios will show a bit of wear and tear by now. The slide at the feature pool is being refurbished in October and work should be complete by the time you visit.

Personally, I would stay at SS - more/better pools to choose from and proximity to DS outweighs any allure of the Boardwalk for me.

I think I see that you did change, 2 at BCV, 2 at BWV. SO easy to get to Epcot whenever you do go! :thumbsup2

Yes I did. LOL I am waitlisted for BCV for the two BWV nights, but if it doesn't come through I am fine with two nights at each since they are so close to each other. We haven't stayed at BWV since 2007 and I think it was 2015 for BCV. It is just me and hubby and if we go to any park on this getaway it would be Epcot. :)

The renovated rooms in Congress park at SSR are gorgeous. Short walk to Disney Springs is a plus since you aren’t going to the parks. You can walk over to the DS bus stop to easily take a bus to visit any other resort.

I love the Crescent Lake area and am a BWV owner, and I think you can still have an awesome non-park trip at BWV, but if you plan to take advantage of DS, SSR is probably the best place to be. That and the refurbed rooms look awesome. Have fun!

Definitely SSR for a Non-Park stay.
You will find yourself at Disney Springs a lot.
We enjoy our non-park stays there, and you can spend time at the movies, the VOID, maybe the NBA experience, and Cirque is reopening soon also!

Anytime I stay at BC or BW the pull to go into EPCOT is too great. SSR on the other hand, I am more than content to relax at the resort and shop in DS. I would keep SSR if you are not planning to go into the parks. Also SSR has the refurbished rooms
