BWV is not our home resort, but we stayed there in June. The rooms we stayed in (a studio, then a one-bedroom), were sorely in need of renovating. This may not be the case for all the rooms, but it was disconcerting. And bus service was kind of a pain; long waits were the norm. But we enjoyed the restaurants and the option of using watercraft or walking to Epcot.
We stayed at SSR when it opened and are returning there in November. Normally, we would stay at OKW, our home resort, but since it is a short trip and we booked a studio, we wanted a couch instead of the two bed arrangement at OKW. It is a quiet resort, very spread out. We like the proximity of DTD, which is a huge plus since their on-site restaurant is rather basic. Bus service was good when we visited; of course, the resort had just opened and was far from full capacity. We did not visit the main pool, but really enjoyed using our community pool at Congress Park. There is a nice view of the water and DTD.
