What is the fastest way to get from BWV to MK? I have a rental car and don't know if i should drive, take a bus, take monorail from Epcot...too many options. What is the best way to get there?

:confused3

The fastest way is definitely a WDW bus.

It's faster to drive to the other parks but at the MK buses drop you off at the entrance while driving means you still have to take a tram and monorail or boat after you park your car.

To take the monorail you'd have to walk all the way through Epcot, take the monorail to the TTC, then transfer from that monorail to the MK monorail.

Enjoy!

The ride is really not that long from BWV to MK. The only problem would likely be if you happened to just miss a bus and had to wait for the next one. While we were there, the route for MK only combined BW/BWV and Swan & Dolphin. For MK, the Yacht and Beach Club were separate. It worked to our advantage when we left MK because if we noticed a BWV bus had just left, we would hop on the Y/BC bus and take the boat across.

I'm partial to driving my own car to the parks- then you don't have to wait for a bus at the end of the day when your feet are aching and you just want to sit....but that's just me :)

True story. Last July, we stayed at the BWV. We took my inlaws to the MK to see the fireworks, and got a perch on the train station terrace. (A great viewing spot, BTW!)

Anyway, the fireworks started at 10...were over about 10:10. We scooted down and out to the bus stop -- walking, not running. (My wife's parents aren't exactly marathon sprinters, you know?) We got on the first bus. As the bus dropped us off at the BW, I glanced at my watch.

It was 10:30.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Moral of story: YES, TAKE THE BUS! :donald:

It makes no sense to drive to the Magic Kingdom. Only Disney buses are allowed near the main entrance. All other vechicles must go to the TTC. From there you may have to take a tram (depending on how far back you are) to the boat or monorail to get to the MK.
Even if you just missed a bus and have to wait 20 minutes there is no easier way to get to the MK.
