Someone else mentioned that there are some studios at BWV that have daybeds and can accomodate 5 people?? I had never heard of these room types before. Can someone confirm this?

The daybed is more like a bench. Those are dedicated studios and you can only request it. It's not a guaranteed booking. I don't think MS will let you book 5 in a studio at BW.

Some of the dedicated studios at BWV have a very small daybed. A young child could sleep on it but I might be afraid of the child falling off because it is rather narrow. It is great for extra space for packages, carry-on luggage, etc.
I found this thread with a photo:

The angle of the photo makes the room and the daybed look longer than they really are. Also, I found this statement on Allears:
Studio with Daybed: - Includes everything in the Studio room plus a five-foot daybed. Per Disney, this Studio with Daybed will accommodate "four adults maximum, plus one child who will fit in the daybed, plus one child under the age of three in a crib".
So it sounds like you could actually have 6 people if at least one were a child and one an infant in a pack'n'play. I can only imagine how crowded it would be but probably doable for a one night late arrival, for instance.

Hi Jen! We had one of these rooms last March, didn't request it, but were happy to have it. I think I heard that they can't be requested anymore. It is definitely not a bed, more of a bench. If I was more computer savvy, I'd post a picture of it! It came in handy for storing stuff, or putting your shoes on. I don't think one of your boys would be too comfy on it, if that's what you are thinking. Give me a call if you want to see our pictures from that trip - we can meet up, or I can bring my laptop to Norm's party in July!

Thanks everyone for the replies! I agree now that I have seen the picture it's definitely more of a bench and doesn't look comfortable at all. My boys hate sleeping together and when I heard someone say daybed I thought it may be an option. But you are all right it's more like a bench for sure.
Thanks again!!

That photo was taken with a fisheye lens or something because the deacon's bench looks much longer than it really it. It just fits into the space where the door would be if this was a lockoff studio. The mattress is about crib sized and not very thick.

We had one of these Studio Plus's when my son was five (that's what they used to call them when you were guaranteed this studio) and we thought, great, he can sleep on the "daybed". Well, he tried it the first night and moved into the queen bed with me about an hour later. He hated it.

We have travelled many times as me, DH, DBIL, and DD
I bought a twin airmattress and a pump, and carry that and sheets because DD cannot sleep with her uncle. There has not been a room that we haven't been able to put it in, whether a studio at BWV or OKW, or a standard room at POP. When space is tight, we just lean it up against the wall during the day. DD slept on the daybed a couple times, but it has a very thin cushion and is very short.
