Hi all,

I am staying onsite for my my first time ever thanks to a wonderful DVC'er (thank you!). I'm staying in a BWV standard view studio. I'm really clueless as to what kind of 'requests' that I'd like to consider faxing to them.....

I want a balcony, high floor #, view of park or Fireworks if possible (best possible standard view).

I don't care about smoking/non. I would prefer to be near elevator (only if possible), and I will need a bathtub for my 2 year old.

Of course I would have loved the boarwalk view but was not willing to pay for it. :-)

Any comments? Or should I just fax the above into them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All of the BWV rooms have balconies, so no need to request that.

The standard view rooms that have a view of the higher level fireworks from Illuminations are NOT close to the elevators.

As far as I know, all of the rooms have tubs except for those that are handi-capped accessible. We've never gotten one of those in 5 trips.

If the fireworks view is most important to you, my advice is to request a room on an upper floor, across from the bus stop/near to the pond.

Good luck!

I was under the impression that all smoking studios were on the ground floor overlooking the main driveway, etc. with walkout patios.

All of the smoking rooms at BWV are on the second floor (same floor as the lobby). Not all of the rooms on the second floor are smoking and not all are standard views. Because of the slope of the land/way the villas are built, many of the smoking rooms have balconies. I believe only those smoking rooms that are closest to the lobby have walkout patios.

Seems like you guys are pretty knowledgeable so I'll inquire too. We renting Studio with standard view. My priority would be a quick walk to the luna pool and closer to the Boardwalk vs the parking lot. I've heard there's only one bank of elevators and some rooms are quite a walk from them. So should I be so specific as to request a 3rd floor room, near a specific stairway that might be near the luna pool. Not that I couldn't do 4 or 5 flights, but you do so much walking as WDW anyway. We want non smoking.

If you request close to the elevator you would be near the stairs for Luna Park. The elevator takes you down to the first floor near the pool, the stairs near the end of the first part of the hall would take you there too. Your view would be of the valet entrance.
