I will be going to BWV next Christmas with a total of three couples and two toddlers. If I reserve a 2-BR, will there be a way to assure that the studio portion will have a day bed for one toddler to sleep in?

I believe the plus is only in dedicated units as the daybed goes where the lockoff door is. Someone, please correct me if I am wrong.

I shared a 2BR with my parents at BWV this summer, and they were in the studio part with a lockoff door in between. The thing is, I don't remember there being a day bed in that room. (Am I understanding your comment correctly?)

No such thing as a daybed in the studio of a two bedroom. The daybad goes where the connecting door is.

Six people and two todlers is more than I would be happy with in those units. Its going to be crowded, but if you are only in the unit to sleep, it won't be that big of a deal.

Just echoing the rest -- the "daybed" is only in the dedicated studio. Daybed is also kind of a broad description of what is basically a bench. It is long enough for a toddler but I'm not sure whether it's the safest place for a toddler to sleep (might roll on to the floor). The Aerobed is a better idea.

We have plenty of time to get ready for next December, so maybe an Aerobed or two would work out best.

BTW, Richyams - We had 8 adults and an infant in a 2BR this June for DS 1st birthday without too much trouble, and we actually ate in the room from time to time. I guess it all depends on who you are sharing the room with.

On a trip last February, the "day bed" was not big enough for my then 8 year old daughter to sleep on. At first she wanted to try but realized quickly that one move to her side and she ould be on the floor. It is both narrow as well as short.

I have never had the need to use the "daybed", and that is using the term very loosely believe me!, LOL, as a bed for anyone. But from my use of this seating area, I agree with the others you are better with off with an aero bed or having the toddler share a bed with adults then using the daybed as a bed. The master bedroom in a 1 or 2 BR at BWV has a huge walk in closet with a light and it is a great place to put an aero bed, or if the child is a young toddler, he/she would probably fit in the pack and play and would be more comfortable then the daybed. We use the daybed as an extra seat in the bedroom area for putting on shoes, throwing our fanny packs, jackets, etc., but not for anyone to sleep there. It is pretty narrow, like the width of a typical benchseat with pillows.

Don't know how you are planning your sleeping arrangements but maybe you could use the cushions off the pull out sofa- We did this with pre-teens and brought a fitted sheet from home.
Pushed the cushions up against two walls and granddaughter said she preferred it to the sofa bed or a regular one. Have also used various types of inflatable mattresses with good results.
