BWV Standard View available for August

I reserved a standard view 1 bedroom villa for August at the seven month window. Had been planning to go to OKW, but my DD loves the pool at BW and so I said I would try for standard view. Was very happy to get it, as I know it can be hard to get the standard views less than 11 months out sometimes.

Yesterday I called and changed our reservation due to some changes in our schedule. Thought I would not be able to get BW for the different nights I needed (2 weekend and 1 weeknight) but the standard view rooms were available, now only 3 months out. The CM and I were both surprised at this being available.


Now if we can just avoid a hurricane...

Yup, lets hope for good weather in August!! We were there, at BWV last August and things were fine. We had booked a SV 2 bedroom there at about 5 months out, that was last year ( we got it after a waitlist). We had bought an add on and switched from 2 studios to a 2 bedroom. So, it seems that August is another good time to get a a non-home resort.

We didn't have enough VWL points to book this year's August trip at once. I had enough for 1 studio and a 2 bedroom, but had to wait until 7 months to get the other studio, and it worked for me.
