BWV pool closed

Just found out that the Luna Pool will be closed for refurb. Jan-Feb. They said we can use BCV but that's quite a long walk around in wet bathing suits.

I Know it is a long way around, but I think all the pools have changing rooms and: You get to use Stormalong Bay, a mini-waterpark! I agree, it's a hassle, but your substitute is actually quite great!!

ETA: ok, now I realized that you already stayed at the Beach Club, so you know their pool... But still, the people staying at Caribbean Beach only get a temporary water slide installed to the quiet pool!

You can also use the quiet pool at the BWI. In January and February you could easily encounter days with highs in teh low 60's, so it really might not matter much, it could be too cold for swimming anyhow.

My kids would swim even if there was a thin layer of ice on the pool. It's just hard if you want to run down to the pool for 20 min. dip before going to dinner and you can't really just run!! I also like to leave DH at the pool while I wash some clothes and I go back and forth. I guess not this trip. Kids were looking forward to the clown slide. Last time we were at BWV there was a problem with the pool and they couldn't use it then either.

It just says 1-7-08 through early Feb. The girl on the phone at DW didn't even know this info. She had to put me on hold to verify. It is correct. Good ol' Disboards keepin us informed. and ahead of the game. I'm gonna try to change my resort now.
