im interested in the bwv & okw print and was wondering, does dvc sell this print at the bw stores, or are they only given to you with a purchase of points? i am a dvc owner at the bcv and i thought it would be a great idea to collect all the home away from home resorts. and i only have the bwv & okw left to add to my collection. thank you!;) ;)

WDWSTAR,
I know that you can purchase prints of the BWV at the Boardwalk. If I am remembering correctly, they are in both the lobby store and the one down on the Boardwalk (Screendoor). I purchased my framed print from the store in the lobby.
Sorry, do not know the info about OKW!

thank you !
i love your mickey and minnie picture!
now i have an excuse to make ressies for wdw!
;) ;)

Your welcome! My pic is from the flower and garden festival last year! It turned out the best of all the pics!

At VB, the prints that you can buy in the store and the one they give you when you join are different. I don't know if it is the same way with the resorts at WDW.

I was on a internet auction site (starts with a "E" and ends with a "y") and they had them for auction. The one of BCV was the same one that I got when I bought DVC.

yes, thank you, i just won two prints last night and now i just need okw & bwl. .

and as far as the ones sold at the resorts i have to find out if anyone else knows if they are the same.
thank you all for the info!;)

How much are they in the gift shop at BWV? I recently purcahsed my resale and want a BWV print.

Thanks

They sell various OKW scenes at the store there. We have them all grouped together on our wall at home.

Yes, you can buy OKW prints at the General Store. But...they are not the "original" ones. The "original" prints were done by Ann Irvine. She was commissioned by DVC back when OKW opened up and did several pieces for them. If you go to http://www.artistzone.org/irvine/irvin.htm you will see a print called "Key West Magic". That was done from the Peninsular Road bridge. I have that one and all I can say is that I feel like I am home when I see it. She also has several pieces hanging in each villa. Mostly in the bathroom/hallway/master br areas. The lithos sold at the GS are done by Alexander Skordas. They are bright watercolors; whereas Ann's are the softer tones. The ones at the GS are a little more pricey, too.
