BWV lockoff question

I am going with a large group in December..(again ) I have 1-1 bedroom booked. and 3 studios. 2 standard view one preferred. The third studio is booked for a friend who isn't sure if he can committ this far in advance. My question is can I request that one of my standard view studios be set up as the lock-off of my one bedroom. I don't want to get a 2 bedroom, as if they flake I don't want to rework my own plans, and perhaps will rent the studio portion. Can I do this? And when should I do this. would it be guaranteed or just a request? Thanks Lauren

You can certainly request that configuration, but it will not be guaranteed (unless it's reserved as a 2BR).

It can't hurt to make the request, but consider it just that- a request.
